Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This has some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The calamari is by far the best I've ever had. The pasta and pizza is outstanding. The service and friendliest of the staff is so special and memorable: they remembered me after a week of my first visit.

Well if you've read most of my reviews you will know that I love a good lasagna! I had the lasagna here on Valentines Day and it was damn good! It is up there with some of the best. Perfect amounts of beef and cheese and slathered in a sensational rich bolognese sauce. I have never been disappointed here. The pizzas are beautiful Napoli style. Highly recommended great traditional Italian fare. I have been here on many special occasions.

Our new local Italian in Prahran/Windsor. Since moving in we have eaten here 6 times and rarely dissappointed. Great vibe - staff are great and have a really helpful attitude.
Smallish menu - but all tastes great. Lovely generous Italian style pizza's - don't expect the loaded Aussie version! Excellent pasta ( tried the Carbonara recently - really good). My highlight ( and I always order it ) is the Vitello Tonnato - really is the best in town. Only issue - wine list needs beefing up. A small selection of nice Italian wines but could add a few more ( or allow BYO at a fair corkage) All in all - really good place!

Nice ambience. Unfortunately overpriced for the food. The menu prices of almost everything were $4-$5 more than what was listed on the website. I pointed it out and was told there was a software issue with updating the website price menu! Sure thing.
I had crab pasta and it was tiny and tasteless. The pizzas were nice, looked large but were paper thin, too thin so you can’t pick up the slice without it all flopping down. Daughter’s lemon lime and bitters tasted like soda water.
Nice ambience though.

The service exceptional, the food as my son said “ I’m ruined unless I go to Italy I don’t think I’ll ever have as good pizza” and the atmosphere was stunningly authentic Italian. The best of the best! Bravo Bella!!

Pizza is among the best in Melbourne. If you feel like real Italian taste, this is the place to go! Moreover, on Tuesday night discounted pizza and beer combo.

Two couples, went on a Saturday night so busy (as we anticipated). Shared the cheese and salami platter which was delicious. Then on to mains: papardelle with lamb ragu, chicken involtini and ravioli. All were great - tasty, good serving size. The pizzas looked enormous. All the staff serving us were Italian, as were people at the table behind us, which we interpreted as a good sign. Wine was a little pricey but large wine list to choose from. I would return.

Whilst not being Italian myself I have been married in to a pretty quintessential Italian family of Calabrian origin with a mother in law and a husband who both make their own pasta and sauces from scratch. I also, for the last 23 years, have lived in regional NSW where excellent Italian food is one of our claims to fame so I like to think that I have a mature and well developed taste for good quality, staple Italian food.
I went to Eat'aliano with friends of mine who just live around the corner from the restaurant. I ordered the Pappardelle con L’Agnello (homemade pappardelle with slow cook lamb ragu) and I have to say it blew me away. The pasta was silky and al dente and the lamb ragu was rich, full of flavor and I enjoyed every mouthful. The serving size was just right so I didn’t end up feeling overfull.
The service was excellent and the character of the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Whilst I cannot remember what my friends had they both raved about their meals.
I am excited to come back and try something new on the menu.

Three couples went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food, wines and service. Our waiter was Argentinian and very effective and full of South American charm. The food was modern Italian with an Oz twist. Pizzas, chicken dishes and salads all great. Wine list full of good choices at reasonable prices. Very buzzy vibe too. Not cheap but good value.

I love this place!! The pizza is the best in Melbourne. Traditional, fresh and simple. I would recommend the margarita with procuitto. The service is great, and food comes out quickly. They always have specials on, and we had amazing Burrata. Delicious overall. I would highly recommend.
