In a cute alley, you will find this no-nonsense restaurant. Crab a table outside, let youself be served by the kind and professional waiters and order a Paternel wine and some typical provencal food or a pasta. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality....More

Very solid restaurant that offers traditional local food with a good variety of meats and fish. The fish soup was very good, and the duck was solid. Nothing wildly exceptional but certainly it is a solid place for dinner. I enjoyed the fact that it...More

Really tasty food, nice atmosphere and really good table service. Would definitely recommend if in the area. We had dinner there (table of 4) and everything was great - the minute steaks were very tasty and the creme caramel was very nice.

This was recommended by our hotel concierge and did not disappoint. We each ordered a different appetizer and entree so that we might share, and each dish was even more delicious than the next. The ravioli au gratin was sinfully divine! I highly recommend!

We were staying in Cassis for four days and found Le Chaudron on the first night. It is not in the best position - i.e. not overlooking the sea-front - but past experience suggests that restaurants in the ideal position don't have to work as...More

The food here was not anything unique but it was good quality, fresh, and local. The service was very prompt and not french (meaning it was fast and they checked on us every few minutes) which was a nice change of pace. It's worth coming...More

This is one of two restaurants on this little side street. The road is blocked with tables with just enough room to walk past, certainly no vehicles! We got a table at about 19.30 without a reservation but it does get busy a little later....More

Hi Erica, Most of the guests when we went were couples. I recall a family or two, but the youngest children I recall were in their early teens.
