Really tasty and authentic food. We ended up getting two extra dishes because we enjoyed the taste so much. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It is a bit expensive.

After a few days of typical Belgium food we fancied a change while in France and spotted this very busy restaurant across the road from our hotel. Mistakenly thinking it must be good as there were no tables available we booked to come back in 30 minutes when the manager assured us he'd have a table ready for the four... More

Looks impressive, however we were unnerved at the attention we were constantly being openly observed? The food is definatly different from any other I have ever tasted, the Evian bottled water is no way Evian , I believe tap water at €7 !!! When I questioned on it they denied it and didn't offer an unopened one. €100 four diners.... More

Wish I'd read reviews before visiting with my three brothers with over 150 years collective experience of eating Indian food throughout the UK. If you appreciate good Indian cuisine, DO NOT enter this appalling excuse for an Indian restaurant. Paltry portions of exceptionally bland food poorly served at at an extortionist price. By far the worst Indian meal we'd ever... More

Went to Amiens for the Autumn réderie / flea market which is on a Sunday and staying in the town over night, we searched Tripadvisor for a restaurant for the evening. On a Saturday evening you trip over places to eat, but on a Sunday evening most restaurants are closed. This restaurant is opposite the railway station, so very easy... More

Went here for a quick meal after arriving by train. The starter-kit trio with pappadam : green dip was OK,  but the pickles was not very tasty, just very spicy; didn't try the sweet brown stuff. Took samosas as entrée; not very tasty, just greasy with a thick crust and less filling. My main was a vegetarian dish (Alu Massala)... More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn, across the street. We wanted to dine before Seven, so we asked if we could get food at 6:30. Great to be able to speak English. The Chicken Tikka was excellent, the Beganbharta.was also very good. The prices are very fair, the food came quickly, quite spicy and yummy. After a terrible experience in an... More

On asking for G&Ts the four of us were given gin & lemonade. When asking for tonic with the gin we were told that in France lemonade is tonic water. After letting them know I had lived in France for years an apology was offered but no tonic, so I walked in the pouring rain to the nearby shop and... More

A group of 8 of us ate here when staying in Amiens for the Euro's Excellent service, friendly helpful staff. The food was top draw. The only reason it didn't get the 5 star rating was the fact they didn't do chips! And you cannot have half & half without chips :) If you like good authentic curries then give... More
