We ate in the downstairs bar and had a very enjoyable 3 course lunch. Very busy bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzing! The fish and seafood dishes were excellent. Service was friendly and the waiter’s recommendations were much appreciated. We will definitely come back!...More

Online table booking greatly improved .But because we had a little way to travel we reserved a table for 13.45 . On hindsight this was maybe a little late as , although the food was excellent quality but a little tired and dried .

Let's be absolutely clear, when you arrive at the restaurant you will most definitely wonder what you are doing there as it is set amongst factories, warehouses and processing plants. Step inside however and it is a real gem. We went for lunch today and...More

We have eaten in this restaurant many times and it never fails to impress us. We took our parents who haven’t eaten here before and they too loved their meal. Very relaxed atmosphere and one of my favourite fish restaurants. Ensure you book as it...More

It took a while for us to find this wonderful seafood restaurant in the docks area of Boulogne. It was worth the effort. We enjoyed a starter or langoustine in a garlic and oil dressing. The langoustines were sweet and cooked to perfection. We followed...More

Excellent food, whether it be fish or meat. The four of us look forward to exploring the rich menu again. We took the advice of other reviewers on Tripadvisor and asked for a table upstairs when we made the booking just one day before our...More

Description
Le Chatillon restaurant in the heart of Boulogne’s Capecure attracts everyone in town for the freshest of fish and great atmosphere. The bubbling ground floor dining room will remind you of the interior of an antique fishing vessel with wooden bar, pictures of old Boulogne and copper detailing, while the first floor space is more serene, though prices go up a notch too. M. Baude was a fish dealer in a past incarnation, so he only serves the highest quality fish and crustaceans. This atmospheric restaurant gives the true flavour of the old fishing port.
