My wife and I had dinner there last night with our 2 teenage sons. The place was recommended by our Air B&B host and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly from the moment we arrived and whilst respecting Covid protocols; this did not detract from a very enjoyable experience. There is a limited choice menu but we chose across it between the 4 of us and everything was delicious - and in portion sizes to satisfy the initially sceptical boys! I would certainly recommend it and would return if in the area.

The food was amazing and delicious. My mother even asked for the recipes of one of the appetizers so that we can eventually learn to make it ourselves. The menu is in both English and French. It changes with whatever new produce/products are available. Everyone was incredibly kind and courteous. I hope to return to this restaurant once more. It is lovely and the people who work there will put a smile on your face within seconds.

It was our last evening in France. We have been traveling for 10 days, and it was certainly the most delicious and memorable meal we had. The presentation and preparation of wonderful fresh local ingredients are what gives French culinary its reputation. Tres bon!!!

I stopped to have dinner here …as it was in a convenient location , its a pleasant looking little restaurant , and the staff were helpful..but that’s where it ends whilst the food was not bad , it was certainly not memorable…it was probably the most average food that I have had in any restaurant in france in my 30 visits to this country !
An Amuse Bouche was served of sweet potato puree with pumpkin seeds the flavours just weren’t there.. it tasted like baby food … …I Ordered the Foie Gras it was not seasoned and was just bland flavours on the plate , I love Foie gras this was disappointing to say the least..next was the duck at this stage I was not expecting too much from the chef …the tiny pieces of duck were served with baby root vegetables and …Oh No …more orange puree with pumpkin seeds …and nuts ..oh dear …reading the other reviews I had to wonder if it was the Chef’s evening off…or maybe they have a new inexperienced chef .
I had lunch at Aubergine the previous day and the food was much more well balanced and a quarter of the price .
If you want to go to a very good restaurant in Villeneuve-les-Avignon book Les Jardins De la Bataille its an excellent restaurant…

A small and simple restaurant with very fresh products. Very limited menu choice (2 starters, 3 mains), but excellent quality. Small but nice wine list. My entrecote had a lot of fat, and they made immediately a new one on my remarks. Would recommend and certainly come back. Bill was very reasonable.

Amazing food, great wine and very friendly and nice service! Our best meal in France so far. We didn’t have reservation, but we were quite early, right after opening, so they had some free tables.

A limited but quality choice. His veal tartare: original, a delight.
Its lamb fillet, common but impeccably cooked, lots of taste and to conclude a very tasty strawberry Vacherin. Bravo for the cuisine, a big bravo especially when the smiling, efficient, fast service follows. Very nice wine list and some good cocktails, also original. Even better than when it was placed in Saint Mark.
And to finish, original, very modern tableware that I appreciated. I advise.
