I had lunch with my son last week, we chose the 3 course meal at €14 but because did not fancy the dessert for an extra €2 I could have the 'assiette gourmande'. The goats cheese salad starter was very good but the best dish was the Entrecote steak. It was superb! My son had asked for rare and I... More

Take the maitre d's own advice and use the Coligny next door. We did not get a chance to taste the bog-standard menu at Brasserie Saint Sicaire because the staff and, in due course, owner were so rude and unaccommodating we were advised (by them) to eat elsewhere. Our crime in this case was having children with us. I won't... More

Recently, there have been some subtle but good improvements to this already very good eatery. Little "amuse bouche" with aperitifs, an additional entrecote menu and the service seems even better. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Family lunch on a very busy summer Sunday lunchtime with my French in laws who are very discerning & everyone was very happy with the service, the lovely food and the good value drinks. Bilingual serving staff so no issue for those who don't quite master le francais. Très bon moment passé en famille - tout était très correct et... More

Along the river we were sitting on a small teras. Kind people are serving. The meat was properly prepared. We had duck and beef. Price and quality are well in balance.

Went here as we just arrived and it was raining,so we sat inside. They found us a table for two right away. Service was swift and attentive, even though it was busy. I had steak,it was cooked exactly as requested. My husband had the lamb chops which he said were excellent.Would recommend, nothing special, just good, reasonably priced. On nice day there is a... In my last review of this Restaurant, I titled it 'I'll be back' and I can honestly say it was just as nice this time. In fact the last time we were here was March, so it was a little chilly in the evenings, so we sat inside. This time we had temps of 28deg during the day and a... More

My wife ordered a coffee & lemonade in French, as it was only 11.30 & the only other table occupied was drinking coffee. How wrong we were!! Not sure if it was because we were British but we were told very loudly (along with graphic sign language just in case we didn't understand the French) that we couldn't stay at... More
