A classic Arcachon seafront cabane restaurant. A fair priced menu with all the seafood standards with an Italian influence. Plateau Fruits de mer was great and service rapid and friendly. Great views across the beach and bay. Not cheap but a great treat for your stay.

A long weekend in Bordeaux gives the chance to visit Arcachon for a dose of oysters. That requires a trip on the train through La France Profonde, which is a pretty ghastly experience I’m afraid. The view from the train window was of scrappy waste ground or along the Gironde estuary continuous development of single story “maisonettes” with less charm... More

I was dining at this wonderful restaurant in Arcachon. It's very delicious and i can fully recommand it. But make a reservation of the table. The restaurant was full just an hour after we arrived.

The reason of our visit in Arcachon was to taste their famous sea food I read. It was worth to go there. The restaurant was in front of the sea and the ambiance was accordingly. It is not cheap but cheaper than the ones I have been in other places in Europe. Quality oysters are expensive everywhere.

We had dinner there in July 2016 on a lovely evening. The staff were very friendly and the meal was very good. There are a lot of restaurants along the Arcachon seafront and we have eaten at most over the years. This is probably the best one.

Sea food was amazing and really fresh. Our waitress advised us well especially regarding the white wine. We were four adults and 3 platters were enough as she advised us. Not enough oysters though but we had a fabulous time and a great family reunion. We ll come back!

Autumn has finally arrived in SW France. The evenings are cool the crowds have left. My wife and I are here for a couple of days golf. Important to the whole endeavour is the quality of our evening meal. Tonight we tried Chez Pierre, with some trepidation after reading a couple of so-so TA reviews. We were not disappointed and... Reservations were made for us by Alexis in Hotel B. The meal, our last this trip, was wonderful and met all expectations. This place has a wonderful ambience and the pleasant October evening certainly helped. We started with Langoustines done three ways and Isobel had monkfish which was delightful and I had sole on the bone which was marvelous. Isobel... More
