It was a weekday, we reserved a table for 3 people and a baby. I was famished for some goatling since my last visit to the "Gralha" near Mira de Aire. We asked for the goatling for two and the pork rojões, and God that...was great. The Goatling, is sided with potatoes roasted on the meat juices, rice and greens. The pork rojões are sided with cabbage, blood sausage (the best I had lately) and bean rice. To desert I had the traditional "Abade de priscos" pudding. When we made our reservation, we were asked if we rather dine in the inside or outside, we chose the inside because of the baby, but they have a beautifull garden with well spaced tables a plenty of space for the childreb to play. The indoors were not less studding, the simple decorations with suddle touches of originality, like tankards turned into lamps, made the final touch to the great meal that was served.More

The best Tondela region has to offer. Traditional served in black clay from Molelos and a warm welcome by owner and staff. Fried octopus with corn bread, black eyed peas and greens is a must. Roasted lamb will be next...

Excellent tradicional Portuguese food on typical room. You just try the Oven Roasted meat and the mixed Portuguese specialties for starters. For a good ending, the Morgado cake is a delicious bomb dessert. Don’t forget to book it in advance.

Very good restaurant almost hidden in a small place close to Tondela. Kind of small with tables very (very) close to each other. Wonderful menu and prices. Please choose half doses for 1 person (very generous). Good staff. A robust Very Good Mark. Go there...and you will not be disappointed!More

Here's a good example why Tripdadvisor reviews are an excellent source for travelers. I usually go to a townhouse in small village nearby for weekends out of Porto. While searching for restaurants in Tripadvisor, this name was referred as very good. And recently, in an...August weekend, I had the opportunity to go there for diner. We stayed inside, much better than outside where the decoration is no so welcome. We were a group of four, and shared the lamb and fried octopus with 'migas'. Both very well done, the waiters also friendly. Don't have any photos to share, but all in all a very good local restaurant, certainly worth visiting.More

We were recommended by our hosts at Casa de Cobaco. We were not disappointed. We shared the goat speciality & it was excellent and so was the wine that our waiter recommended. Good food and good service and a nice ambiance .

We visited here while staying in Tondela for a family vacation. The service was wonderful and the patio dining area was beautiful. Appetizers are a must - they were delicious! We had the fried meet, cod, gizzards and cheese board (complete with olives and bread)....The mains were also delicious! Highly recommend the mixed seafood with rice - so good! A bit pricey, but worth it.More
