Have been there many times to buy fishcakes, and it must be Norway's best.
Incredibly good. Tip: Try the ones with garlic and bacon...:-)
I'm at work on a boat and we're in Leirvik right as it is, and then there's always a trip to Trollkrabben to buy fishcakes.

This is a small place with the best Fish cakes in the world located near the kai in Leirvik, Stord! They can be eaten warm on the spot or taken home for enjoyment later. Their Fish Soup is also fabulous! There are a few small tales if you will eat there. Lot's of Fish items to choose from. Highly recommended. We stop by everytime we drive from Bergen to Bømlo or Stavanger. The Fish cakes can be frozen and eaten later, no problem. Usually they are mostly gone though before we reach our destination!

if you want warm fishcakes this is the place to go. This is a shop, not a restaurant but they have two tabels if you want to eat a small meal. The seafood soup is also good. The owner has several gold medals for 'Best fishcakes" in national competitions.

Fish and seafood as "Trollkrabben" has is unique. And in addition then sells dei also lunch food that tastes like the best homemade food on genuine ingredients.
