We booked a room on a return trip to the UK driving through France. It is quite simply exceptional food, well presented and freshly cooked. The level of artistic detail which goes on to each plate has to be commented upon. The location next to the Indre is lovely and the hotel whilst very simple offers a welcome break with... More

Great food, great service, lovely place to be. It is tucked away so you wouldn't pass it, but it is worth the slight detour. we liked it so much we came back the following night!!

This was quite simply the best meal we have had in France including Paris. The dishes are prepared artistically and the vegetables are very fresh (this is coming from someone who doesn't love vegetables). The value for money is unbeatable. We had way too much food for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids for 140€ incl drinks. Service... More

We had booked a room to break up a trip to the South Dordogne .We decided to dine in as the reviews were so positive ...and we were not disappointed . Apart from the service being a little haphazard to start with we had a brilliant dining experience. We chose the set menu , two courses plus the cheese option.... More

We have been to le Moulin Fleuri for 27 years, i.e., every May, plus a few other trips) and have gotten dozens of friends and family to go with us. If it is not the most romantic and tranquil site in the world, we do not know what is and the food is just grand. The prior owners, Alain and... More

Very charming restaurant with fabulous, traditional French food. What we had been looking for our whole trip. Highly recommend!

Casual restaurant with sunny outdoor patio where we sat for lunch. The gazpacho may have been a special the day we were there, but it was the best gazpacho I've ever had. I also had a tasty eggs benedict-type entree with spinach, a poached egg and smoked salmon on an unusual bread. A great place for lunch right after touring... More

We chose to stay at the Hotel Le Moulin Fleuri to break the journey from Cherbourg to Gaillac and chose the hotel because it was small and had 3 pots (Logis de France symbol for very good food). The meal was fabulous. After delicious amuse bouches I had pork belly with smoked filet mignon to start and my husband had... More

The Le Moulin Fleuri was one of two recommendations we got for our overnight stay near Tours as we traveled from Lyon to Mont St. Michell. The deciding factor in my choosing to stay at Le Moulin Flueri was the good reviews for their restaurant, which turned out to be completely accurate. We loved our dinner there. We ate out... More

We stayed at Moulin Fleuri on our way to South Dordogne. We chose the hotel as it was located close to Tours and A10 and also it accepted our dog. The hotel decor is a little tired and needs a refresh. However the location and quality of food more than made up for tired decor! Dinner was taken on the... More
