We were here on Christmas and loved the food. It was typical Tuscany, very fresh and made with love. We will come back in the summer!!!

This small trattoria is located in a little place called Mazzolla, only 10 minutes away by car from Volterra. We spent 3 evenings in this lovely restaurant, fascinated by the traditional local dishes that our host Giuseppe prepared for us. He really made us feel comfortable and like at home, very kind and friendly, yet professional, clearly loves his job.... More

Slightly off the road but very well worth it. We all felt like we were eating in the family's house. Ambiance is adorable along with the tiny town. Our group of six people loved everything we ate. The food was so fresh, from the bread, pasta, and meat. Very authentic Italian food.

Driving up to this tiny hilltop village through the low cloud was quite a start to the evening. Small trattoria in the centre of the village. We ate inside and the chef owner was very welcoming. Wonderful local cooking and great atmosphere.

My venue at this restaurant was an awesome experience! It's located in a little village, very beautiful, about 30 inhabitants, lost in the Tuscany's countryside! A very relaxing place. I could even talk a little bit with the people living there. The boss is extremely nice and kindly. We talked for a while with him. He easily speaks french and... More

Great long Sunday lunch. The best plate of spaghetti of our stay in Italy. Amazing family run trattoria.

I came in this restaurant with my partner and I would say that the food was very good. It reminds me the food that my grandmother made for me when I was a kid. The staff was very friendly and ready to answer to all our questions ( in english as well ) I really recommend this place to whom... More

This was our second time turning up at Albana en masse (though this time we'd booked) and still two years later they recognised us. This is not necessarily a good thing but judging by how well we were looked after - 8 adults and 8 children - we weren't too horrendous last time. As before we asked the owner for... More

We arrived at Trattoria Albana based on TripAdvisor, and boy, we weren't disappointed. The food is extremely good, the wine delicious and the general atmosphere of this place makes you feel like you are far away from the world, perhaps because it's located in the middle of nowhere! ;) It's got a lovely atmosphere and good staff, we were happy... Our agriturismo recommended this place, and we were so glad they did. The tiny hilltop village is something out of a postcard, and this little restaurant is a gem tucked in the middle (sadly, there are no views from the restaurant, as it's in the middle, but we went for a stroll after lunch and walked the perimeter of the...
