Very unfriendly from the beginning, regretting not walking away. Ordered a fish, had a huge herringbone, that I spit out, because it was in the back of my throat. I told them and they said that it's possible because it's fish!! Very dangerous. Glasses very...dirty with finger prints! During corona time, we didn't fell comfortable to tell them, but let the glass full till the end and they didn't ask why we didn't drink the wine and still paid for it!! Also payed 3 euro's per person just for our seat?! Waisted money!! I really do not recommend it!! I never had experienced something like this before.More

This restaurant is absolutely perfect. If you come to Viareggio Lucifero is a must eat at restaurant. The food is exquisite the flavours the textures the brilliance of it.....there are no words to describe it. The Mediterranean starter, the crab ravioli, the bream, the pavlova...perfection. The service from the staff and owner has personal touches as well very friendly and they remembered us from last year wonderful people wonderful restaurant.More

Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Great wine list and tasty dishes. Attentive and lovely staff. Service a little slow, but that's due to fresh cooking I believe. Start your evening with a cocktail so the wait won't seem so long.

We had a very nice evening here. We had the Menu Suprise with some nice wines. The service was excellent, the food was very good and the restaurant is decorated with a lot of attention to detail.

This delightful little restaurant was not on our list and it most definitely should be on everyones! if you who enjoy somewhere that's a little quirky, serving wonderful food in a relaxed and most enjoyable ambiance. My friend and I love good food, but it...has to be combined with lots of other things ... ambiance, friendly service and a bit of fun thrown in! Luciferos had it all (as well as being a little like my own name!!). We chanced upon it by wandering up near the port and trying to find a restaurant that was on our list (Nitens ... which also looked nice tbh and we may well try it another night) but this was just so inviting and so pretty and we were able to book a table for a little later (they don't start serving food until about 7.30 - when the kitchen is ready!!) . It's tiny (although there are more tables out in another area) ...we arrived a little earlier and sat in the front which is spotlessly clean, great lighting (i hate being in bright lights and neon signs ... this had none of that!) and very busy on an October wednesday night! The house wine was excellent, they also have a nice range of pre dinner cocktails and interesting italian style drinks. Very efficient and friendly service ... attentive without being invasive. We shared the 'surprise' menu which was a combination of different dishes all brought to us in style and the flavours from every dish were delicious ... a beetroot amuse en bouche which was heavenly to tickle the tastebuds, followed by tuna tartare, black fish, crayfish spaghetti and a little perfectly light meringue with strawberries to finish us off!. Excellent value and a lovely evening. Lots of other happy diners around us. (they do some meat dishes as well as fish) If you're looking for somewhere that is different, very italian and informal, then try this ... it's worth it. Grazie ... bellissimo!More

We ate outside on a warm September evening. Started with a lovely cocktail followed a puree of carrot and cinnamon. The scallops to follow were simply oustanding as was madame's crustacean ravioli. The main dishes of red shrimp linguine and carbonara were to the same...standard and desserts were sinful. Washed down with a nice San Giovese Chianti. Extremely good value @ €100. The service was very friendly and helpful.More

The supremely stylish restaurant and cocktail bar Lucifero (named after the owners dog) is located on the south side of the channel, just a 5 minutes walk from the lungomare/passeggiata. At Lucifero you will find a restaurant that adapts their menue to the best ingredients,...raw materials the season and circumstances give. They combine local tradition with personal creativity in a very fine tuned way. They are mainly a fish restaurant but you will find other alternatives. Don't miss it!More

Tucked away near the harbour, this restaurant has quirky decor and could be easily missed, good recommendations of wines to compliment food, we ordered either a starter or primi course For mains which were delicious but small, free appetisers and wonderful dessert wine with AMAZING...desserts! Service was good, restaurant livened up around 10pm, only downside would be the limited menu- book via trip advisor for 20% off, we had 4 mains, wine, water, appetisers, dessert and dessert wine for around 100 euros :) would recommend!More
