To be honest, we wandered into Ristorante Umbria because we were in desperate need of a bathroom and only intended to stay for an aperitife. However the dining room and the waiter were so warm and friendly we decided to stay for diner. It being early April, it was a little too chilly for the outdoor terrace, so the fire... More

Classic dishes offered in a central spot, enjoying views across Umbria. In fine weather the terrace is the place to be.

A wonderful dinner with accompanying service. We only wish that the weather would have permitted us to sit outside. Well worth a visit.

Second visit to this restaurant. Great ambience with a welcome open fire. Vegetable soup very tasty and just the thing on a cold night in Feb. Wild boar chops cooked on the fire and some very drinkable local red! Spot on.

It was a cold rainy day when we discovered this cozy eatery. We met fellow California friends on Piazza del Popolo, and got lucky in finding this lunch place. We were satisfied with simple pasta dishes, accompanied by a red wine from Montepulciano. Super service, and the charming interior was warmed by a flaming fireplace and good friendship. Wish we... How does one make such awful food when the ingredients are so good? Have a chef who smokes. You can't imagine how over salted the food is. The boar stew tasted no different than the deer stew (both had been frozen although the restaurant warns that it uses frozen products). Both tasted like perfectly awful, stringy boeuf bourguignon by American... More

This was our first visit to Todi and the restaurant had been recommended by a friend, so we decided to drop in for lunch. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff were very welcoming and found us a lovely table on the terrace. The views are mesmerising and it's certainly a place where you can happily sit and relax.... More

We spotted this place on an earlier visit to Todi so decided to drop in one evening for a bite to eat. The view from the terrace is simply stunning and you'd be hard pressed to find a better location for a meal. The wine list was also excellent with a great selection of national and regional wines. The food... More
