A known restaurant in the town, highly recommended by locals for their seafood proposals. OK ambiance, typecasted a seafood restaurant… Bread basket was served with Tuscan bread (bread with no salt) and a black focaccia that called my attention (made with calamari ink). We had dried cod cake with mashed potatoes (delicate tasted 12.00); breaded sardines with arugula (12.00), pasta... More

The place is ok, the service too informal and slow, and the pasta is pretty average. I don't recommend the gnocchi. The salsa is ok, but the pasta is too thick. Better try another place.

I recommended all to try this delightful tasting fresh sea food from the Mediterranean Sea. Staff is very friendly, polite a given warmth of the southern hospitality.

If you want to treat yourself to a good meal (especially fish) in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, go here. The family who runs this place is lovely, quite a few of them speak English, and all recommendations (wine as well as food) were excellent. We will definitely go there again next time we're in the area.

My husband and I had a great evening at Il Vicoletta. The service, food and wine were excellent! The owner was extremely welcoming and made our dinner memorable.

My fritto misto wasn't good at all. The other dishes were good. We paid 45€ per person and honestly it was too much. Service was ok, even though they messed up the order (can happen). With 30€ you can eat as well (if not better) in Porto Santo Stefano at the harbor.

seafood very good, wine & bread great, pasta & gnocchi great. Book ahead, there's often a wait. service a bit slow, but in a friendly take-your-time way.

It wants to be a restaurant with pretensions. However, not very helpful staff, small portions, cutlery dirty, too high prices for services. Menu only in Italian. Total disappointment.

The food is simple, but well cooked and good. the service excellent and very friendly, overall a good experience in a place where good restaurants are surprisingly lacking.

We picked this restaurant, based on reviews from TripAdvisor. We ordered the julienne calamari as a starter. We both thoroughly enjoyed this dish; very fresh and tasteful. As a main we picked a fresh fish from the till, with some help from the waiter and this was prepared in a crust of salt. The result was fabulous and perfectly tasteful.... More
