Go here for a unique experience of watching a volcano erupt as you eat, or finishing your evening wine. Best when the sun has gone so you can see the lava spurting against the dark night sky. If you're not climbing Stromboli then this is definitely worth the experience from afar. Probably a little more pricy because it's a touristy... More

So we came purely based on the location. The little taxi bus will collect you but finding the pick up point is hard enough! The journey if you are at all afraid is scary - the vehicle only just fits the road and there are steep bends and drops. Staff are happy for you to go a little walk up... More

The problem with this place is that it's in a great location overlooking the craters and sciara of Stromboli but there is almost nothing else that we could find to recommend it. The building is utterly charmless and not a little shabby and when we arrived ready to buy lunch and a drink after a hike up the volcano the... More

Poor to mediocre quality. The lamb was to fat and just a few pieces of real meat. The place is excellent to watch the activities of the vulcano in the evening. The trip by shuttle is an experience on itself. You may walk too. You will find a nice busy place, make reservations before you go, it may be crowded.... More

Make sure you are aware of the distance and bring a flashlight, since you'll have to trek up a bit on a dirt road in complete darkness. Enjoy the stars! The tables outside are lit by candles and in perfect view of the volcano. Dinner was good, though I only had a salad (it was good) and a cheese platter... More

Suggest you have your pizza (better than average and good range - not served outside) first while the sun goes completely and than take your remaining wine/beer into the garden for the wonderful views of Stromboli's 'fireworks'. Great experience, not to be missed! To save a 40 min walk upwards, you can get a lift up if you book, but scarey... More

Absolutely worth it for the view and the experience. We we arrived early by Italian dinner standards, and had the place fairly to ourselves, with fast and friendly service. The food ranged from meh (fish) to quite enjoyable (a pizza). The trek down in darkness was great, glad we decided not to take advantage of the offered taxi service. Would... More

This all about the magma show, let's face it. No pizzas. No credit cards. Walking back in the dark is an experience, not recommended for the infirm.

Great location with wonderful views of the volcano. When we arrived around 7.30 there were no pizzas left. Service was very very slow and when our pasta finally arrived the Arrabiata was inedible - tomato sauce with a massive amount of chilly powder in it to make it different from the other bland dishes. I complained and the grumpy waitress... More
