Set in the fascinating ancient town of Spoleto this is a great place for lunch, really nice pizzas and also great vegetarian platters that include a nice glass of vino. The waiters here were extremely friendly and lovely and fast, highly recommended!

We ran into this place by accident. Decent food on a quiet terrace for an acceptable price. Good, but not immediately to remember. My son said that the pizza was good. My pasta was average.

I enjoyed 2 lovely meals at this restaurant- a lunch and dinner and was very happy with both! The beauty of this restaurant was that it catered for tourists who were used to eating meals at traditional western times 12-1 for lunch and 7 onwards for dinner. In Italy it is traditionally more acceptable to eat dinner from 8 pm... More

We were at the Taverna dei Duchi for lunch recently with some friends who were living in Spoleto. They chose the Taverna because it was their favorite place to eat. It clearly has earned that ranking! The atmosphere was charming, the restaurant was clean, the service was delightful, the prices were reasonable and the food amazing. They even tried to... More

Not expensive and suited us for lunch. I had the vegetable risotto which like one of the other reviews did look to have frozen peas in it along with carrots and some other veg. It was the sorriest looking plate of risotto I've even seen but at least it actually tasted nice. My fiancé had tagliatelle with ragu which turned... More

We ate here twice in our visit to Spoleto. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! We were lucky enough to be served by Dario both times. He was funny, knowledgeable and very friendly. He made us feel welcome and was interesting to talk to as he knew so much about Italian food and wine. Highly recommend!

Arrived in Spoletto tired and hungry and after wandering through the town for a while came across this local taverna. Whilst the waiters were friendly they were seriously under staffed and the food was under whelming. I was really looking forward to my vegetable risotto but what arrived was tasteless, watery and poorly presented with a bizarre mix of tinned... More

We came here as a group of 6 on our first night in Spoleto. After a long journey we wanted some nice Italian food and a relaxing place to eat. Our waiter, Dario, was very friendly and more than happy to help with anything we needed, or to give suggestions/information - not only about the food and restaurant but also... More

Greeted by a friendly waiter who had good English. He gave advice on some of the local dishes to try. The food and service were excellent. We had three courses, wine and coffee for 36 euros for two of us. We went to go back the next evening but unfortunately for us it was shut as there had been filming... More
