Portions were small. Food was average. The reason I’m writing this review is because this place is a crime-scene… Tourists beware and Ravello business owners should know this is the type of place that will decrease popularity and revenue in Ravello. After we finished our...meals, we asked for our bill two times. Waiter nodded and then kept walking about the restaurant. Weird. So after 15 mins of waiting, we get up to pay on our way out. This is where a sweet looking “nonna” comes out of the woodwork smiling, pinching cheeks…and demanding cash payment after she rounds up our bill (which we never saw) by 20 euros. When it was obvious that her number wasn’t even close, we politely tried to tell her exactly what we ordered. She got a bit animated and we decided it wasn’t worth the drama that would have ensued. She also told us cash was the only option, even though the door sign showed they accepted Visa. Note to Ravello businesses—the only other money we spent in Ravello was for a taxi to get back to amalfi. Plenty of other places to enjoy. Avoid this one.More

We arrived at 6 and asked about a table and the wonderful Mama Nata told us they were full at 6:30 when they opened but let us sit down early and eat. The staff and food were amazing and we were treated so well! Thank...you for a great night at your restaurant!!More

Good food, but be sure to pay with credit card. If they know you are an American, the old lady/owner will come around and offer the opportunity to pay with cash as a way to receive a “discount”. Then she will rip you off. If...you question her assessment of the bill she starts to make a scene in a crowded restaurant. Just beautiful basic food. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions over the years and have always been very ,very happy with the consistency and quality of their cooking. The cannelloni is a must.

Amazing food in Ravello.. had dinner here during our stay in Amalfi.. Lamb chops and fried dish were excellent. Service was very good.

Don’t trust the “Nonna”! My family went there yesterday and we were overcharged! She acts very nice, pays attention to the children and gives you a little extra. It is all very calculated to build your trust. You don’t get a bill - she just...tells you the total. We were told 110€ for cash and 125€ for visa. We paid cash. After we left - the total didn’t seem right and we calculated it to be 80€. Don’t eat at this unethical and untrustworthy place! The service was terrible, we went to there around 5 when there’s no one around(they did get busier after). I ordered tomato sauce pasta for my daughter(she’s vegan), they first gave her pasta with cheese so we asked to exchange pasta without cheese, then they...brought a plate pasta half uncooked with very unpleasant attitude. My seafood pasta came with no mussels, but the table beside us had pasta with mussels. Food is not good as you would expect in Italy. Overall, I didn’t like my experience at this restaurant. Go somewhere else if you are in the area, pay the price for a restaurant with better service and better view.More

We had a reservation for 21:00. Eventually got our table at 21:20. The waiters (2 of them) whom we asked a few questions about the dishes were super impatient and gave us a very uncomfortable feeling. We left without ordering anything. In our understanding, it...is ok to ask a few questions about a 40 Euro dish before ordering it.More

This is a fun, delicious meal in Ravello. The atmosphere is lively and the Nonna is walking around and greeting people in the restaurant. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We had the most delicious caprese salad as well as the pasta sampling and the...local fish with olive oil and lemon, some of the best fish I've ever had. I just take off one star because the pasta dish was cold. Otherwise, a meal to remember, and would defiantly recommend while in Ravello!More

The old woman is one to avoid. We ate a meal here for a family anniversary and at the end of the meal they tried to charge us double for our meal (€1100). we shared everything amongst 13 adults. We had totalled the price of...everything with the menu and it came to €450. An English speaking cousin went to pay and they charged €1100. Unknown to the waiters (especially to the old woman) he went and informed a native from Ravello who was eating with us the price of the food. The native present then challenged the old woman and received €450 back in cash at the end of the night. The food was very nice, and service very good, however, the meal was spoiled by the price at the end.More

This is a small restaurant in a very small mountain top town. They served our big group with 4 courses of wonderful food. The service was superb.
