Enjoyed a typical Sicilian lunch - but not too heavy. Under the umbrellas in the street it was very atmospheric.

Eager to please waiting staff. Huge portions. Left very well fed, especially after the free desserts. The farm in the village is very sweet😄

Had lunch here as part of castle tour. Good basic food - bit disappointed in Arancini after big build up on Montalbano programme but food was fine if not inspiring. The house white wine was excellent value - very drinkable and only 6 euros per litre.

The food was basic home cooked Siclian food well done. We came up by train from Modica. The service though pleasant was slow. We had hoped to tour the castle and have lunch However the lunch took 1:45 minutes which didn't give us time to see the castle and catch the last train back to Modica at 3:19 which was... More

Had lunch there after visiting the castle. As many other places we visited during our trip to Sicily, the kind of touristy menu and boards outside doesnt do justice to the food . It was really delicious, fresh and typical. Service is professional and friendly. A mus if you are in the area.

I normally steer clear of restaurants that have faded pictures of their dishes on display outside the venue. But in a locality where restaurants are thin on the ground we had to eat here twice and both times the food was poor to mediocre. A platter of rustic antipasta was ghastly. Lamb cutlets were tasteless. My partner's grilled veg were... More

We ate here whilst staying at Parco Cavalongo as it was conveniently located. The food was excellent, the local house wine was good, overall it was excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly. The terrace was a great place to sit and watch as we ate and we were entertained to see the livestock being led through... More

We were recommended to this trattoria by reception at Parco Cavalonga as it was a 5 minute drive away. After the first evening we learnt to forgo Antipasti as the pasta course was so substantial; we rarely got to the secondi course. Traditional pasta and risotto dishes were well prepared, flavoursome and huge portions, almost too big. We drank the... More

it was a perfect taste of a real Sicilian food, having a perfect taste and extraordinary size. I was sorry I could not eat all. As Sicilian say "megghiu arristari chi ammancari" "better to leave food than be hungry"! I´m planning to go again to meet the traditional dishes and the frendly owners!
