lovely little family run restaurant specialising in the boar! As with many Sardinians the staff's English were very good (compared to other tourist destinations in Italy) so they were very good at explaining their menu. definitely order the suckling pig with a nice bottle of red

We arrived without having booked. Thank goodness we arrived early as people without bookings were being turned away with great regularity......and no wonder. My hubbie had always wanted to try suckling pig, and knowing that this is famous in Sardinia, he was not disappointed. I had the wild boar stew, which was the most intensely favoured dish I have ever... More

Great traditional Sardinian food. Everything we ordered was good but make sure you don't miss the porcheddu which is the best we had in Sardinia (and the portions are so large we had to take some of it home). The lamb main course was also nice. For desert we recommend the sebada. The lemon sorbet is not what you expect... More

They place was I believed family owned and suited for small crowds. We didn't have a reservation but they took us anyway. They were the only place that asked if we had a reservation. The food was very good. We let the waiter pick our food it was delicious and also a lot of food with four courses which would... More

This is not just my favourite sardinian restaurant because they cook amazing and delicious food all the times. It is a speciaL place where I spend always good meetings with friends and relatives in a magic atmosphere during summer time in a lovely and unique garden or winter time in front a suggestive fireplace. My favourite dishes are "maccaronis de... More

This was a lovely find, it was a very romantic and intimate setting. After reading TripAdvisor we got the shepherds board to start and then each got the suckling pig. All the food was delicious and the service was good. A really lovely little place. Recommend booking to ensure you get a table as it did get quite busy.

Fabulous atmosphere, welcoming staff, memorable food and a favourite of the locals. You will need to book a couple of days in advance - with good reason!

For meat eaters, a visit to Su Furriadroxu is a must. This is a typical Sardinian restaurant with a superb atmosphere and delicious local cuisine. My husband and I both had spit roasted suckling pig with grilled vegetables and rosemary & garlic roast potatoes. The restaurant is very popular, we booked 4 days in advance to get a table, well... We came to this place because I had seen good reviews on Tripadvisor and because I wanted to try the Sardinian speciality or roasted sucking pig. You need to book this restaurant as it is popular, with the locals as well as tourists. The pork is spit roasted by the entrance to the restaurant, tables are in an open courtyard... More

Like everything in Sardinia, your meal will take time to prepare so order a bottle of red and enjoy the wait. The food is basic but deliciously prepared and the owners are such lovely people. Be sure to try the pecorino plate, 7 or 8 varieties of goat cheese, from hard like parmesan to softer style more readily associated with... More
