Walked up and down Pozzuoli waterfront and finally tried the 'Latin Rascals'. I was the only sit-down customer due to the rainy weather but many others came for take-away pizza so maybe some other time when I am in Pozzuoli I will try their pizza! I started with a Polipo all'insalata (octopus salad) which was very nice. The server told me the small yellow topping was potatoes. I was skeptical at first but it did mix well with the octopus and greens. Next was Scialatielli con frutti di mare. I don't think I ever had Scialatielli pasta so wanted to try it. It was nice. Thicker than fettuccine or linguine with some bite to it. The mixed shellfish was not a lot but very tasty. Since I still had some room after both of these I order the frittura di gamberi e calamari! Not a huge fan of peeling shrimp 'while' eating them but since they were fried and I have lived in Asia for many years removing the heads and feet and eating the tails with maybe some of the shells still on is not an issue for me. It you do not like it that way spend the extra time to clean them up yourself - either way they were good. The calamari was done nicely. Since I was the only sit-down customer I 'felt' like I had 2 waiters just for me. They did some other things while I was waiting and eating but as soon as something happened at my table (plate empty, next order, etc.. ) they were very attentive! Plus they were very friendly to everyone coming in for take-away pizza and a few people just stopping to look at the menu near the door. Great meal experience!!

Pizza is one of the best that i've eaten in the south of Italy. Sword fish and calamari as good as well.
The prices are very food - 6->10 Euro for a pizza.

We ordered some fries that arrived a 30 seconds (I assume ready in fact they were not hot). Poor quality , the omelette very dry pasta .. we took a dome of pizzas with bruschetta also and that bruschetta looked like a shoe insole: dry and without a drizzle of oil. After a long wait the pizzas arrived (in the meantime the appetizer plates had not been taken away and we cleared them). The pizzas very good. Unempathetic waiters sometimes indisposing. The fry eaten is absolutely not worth the asking price. I don't think I'll go back, except for a takeaway pizza to eat on the seafront.

I am on the seafront of Pozzuoli, the restaurant was recommended by a local lady. What about, we were greeted with typical Neapolitan warmth and sympathy. The impepata of mussels we had is certainly the best we ate, served over a soft white pizza in the shape of a soup bowl. Being lovers of mussels, we also took spaghetti with mussels, and these also met our expectations divinely. Finally, a great Neapolitan coffee was offered by the very nice and very kind waiter. We stayed in Pozzuoli with friends and they recommended us at the parking this pizzeria and despite having another Reservation we accepted their Recommendation giving confidence. We did very well! Pizza is absolutely the best Neapolitan pizza we have eaten. A soft dough, light, leavened ad hoc. We also had a mixed fish fry, a cut and chips. A delicacy. All extremely good. Last but not least... of unforgettable Neapolitan curls offered by Mr. Maurizio (Owner) very kind and highly competent person. If you pass by Pozzuoli, do not miss the Latin rascals. Nice place with reasonable prices, seafood starters were excellent and sophisticated. The only drawback was the wine was not so cold but we ordered more ice to the bucket so the problem was quickly solved.

My wife and I ate in this restaurante during our recent visit to Trieste. Both of our
meals were very good and we would definitely return to it if we are ever again in Trieste. It helped that it was very near our hotel and in a very quiet part of the city.

The octopus salad was not the best compared to many others, but the rest of the food was quite excellent, particularly the shrimp-infused pasta and a very light veal dish.

The resto recommended by locals proved very good for pizza. Quick service, perfectly soft dough. The restaurant is spacious and in the sea front (which should be the pedestrian areas so you need to park outside). It is definitely a fish place, which was packed with the locals, but the service was quick and the pizza with mozzarella buffala gets 5 my stars! They place is also reknown for the pizza by meter (half meter)

My wife and I stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon for a bite to eat. We were greeted with a complimentary flute of bubbly, which helped take the gloom of the day off!
We ordered a plate of mozzarella di buffalo con prosciutto & with some mussels to start then split a steak (one of the better steaks since I arrived in Italy last year) and salad. Washing it all down with some well recommended vino. The quality of the food was good and the waitstaff was kind, helpful and patient (some English spoken).
Just a word for the Americans out there, smoking is allowed in the "outdoor" room, which is actually a closed tent. It didn't bother us (in fact the couple next to us asked if their smoking bothered us, it didn't) but if that type of thing wears on you, ask for a seat inside!
We wish we had room for dolce and will definitely add this to the list of places to eat!

I stayed two days near this restaurant pizzeria in Pozzuoli and never choice was more apt, friendly and welcoming staff, for lunch pizza and fish in the evening maintaining very high quality on both occasions. Definitely to try again, SUPER RECOMMENDED!
