This pirate themed bar is tiny and tucked away on the street away from the marina. Interesting pastas and seafood dishes. We asked the owner and he brought two different pastas for us to share. Full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Add the local wine and a cheap and wonderful dinner was complete.

Who needs the view with food and service like this. The onion soup with prawns is magnifico... and the Minestrone soup with pesto is also delicious.... so glad we decided to take the back street through the archway instead of eating at the port.

Was keen to try this place after looking at their menu during the day. Arrived without a booking and were the only ones there but not made to feel welcome at all. The food was good and service fine but had the feeling they would have rather been at home than serving patrons.

If you are visiting this beautiful village you will almost certainly want to eat, and this is just the place for you! Forget the flashy, and expensive places on the waterfront, come to Osteria Baracco. We found it because the places on the waterfront were too expensive for us. We walked up the street which runs parallel, but above the... More

A casual, tiny little place with charming decor (tables were anchors....pirate themed) and lovely staff. The food was up there with the best we've had in Italy. Flavours just burst from the dishes. Excellent ingredients, individually prepared dishes, just like a good Italian home kitchen. We ate there twice, because we knew it wouldn't disappoint. Inexpensive too. And lovely wines... More

Strolled in here as the fried fish on display outside was tempting. The place was atmospheric. The portion sizes were average. The food was average. At the end we found a 2 Euro per person table cover charge had been added to the bill. This comprised 20% of our bill for 3 people! No notice of this outside or on... More

We went there late and unfortunately pizza was finished. I ordered a sandwich and Michelle the seafood pasta. The place is very quirky but fun to eat at with its array of anchor legged tables and stools. Something got lost in translation as I ordered the sardines and received mussel sandwich. I did say it not what I ordered but... More

Just inside the imposing town gate built in 1113, the Bacicio is named after a famous pirate-turned-privateer (like modern financial types!) and the bar/restaurant prides itself on that heritage. The best part of the menu (besides the description of the life of Bacicio) are the six pages of sardine offerings. Cold or hot, spicy or mild, there are more ways... More
