Porto Venere is beautiful but very touristic, so finding a really good place is not so trivial. We were very convinced by the The Torri, which proposes excellent local cuisine, with skilled preparation and fresh products. We liked very much the pasta with seafood, and the purposely nearly raw red tuna. Even the dessert was spectacular. The terrasse is lovely,... More

The owner spotted us reading the menu outside the restauant, so came out with 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco. This did the trick, and in we went. A great decision. A fresh clean interior, colourful crockery, marvellous fresh bread, a good and reasonably priced wine list, friendly attentive service and home cooked Italian fare. The desserts were exceptional. And reasonably... More

Overall atmosphere was classy and service pleasant and sympathetic. Food was ok. But the bread was many days old - it was hard like a stone and smelled a bit mouldy. House wine was not good either for wine area. For this price would expected this kind of things to be ok..

We went here twice on our trip to Portovenere. Service was good, place was clean and very pleasantly decorated with flowers and custom dishes. On our first visit, I had the house pasta as first course and the fish of the day island style as my main course. My wife had a caprese salad as her first course and pasta... More

I went with my family to have a nice italian lunch and our experience turn out to be complete disappointment. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water, another 20 minutes to receive the menu, and ten more minutes to make the order, only to find out that there was no pasta dishes at all! and it is... More

This was without doubt our most disappointing meal in Italy. The bread was the highlight and that was not great! Whole fish is charged per 100g so costs about 30-40% more than even a Michelin Star restaurant close by. Grilled tuna was over cooked and under seasoned and served entirely unaccompanied. Fried Calamari tough and also unseasoned. Fried mixed seafood... More

Porto Venere was at the end of an excellent walking holiday in the Cingue Terre area. A really attractive and bustling town. There are plenty of restaurants in the town and making a choice was challenging. We took pot-luck and we were not disappointed. In short we had a truly excellent and good value meal served in delightful surroundings by... More

Poor service , very small cold expensive portions. Good location but the cover charge reflect this . Staff seemed fed up as if they were doing us a favour.

What a pleasant surprise to find this delightful restaurant adjacent to the main piazza in Portovene. The atmosphere was only bested by the friendly service and quality food. We can highly recommend the baked fish and potatoes as well as the Scaloppine Milanese. Homemade gelato topped off the night. Don't waste a visit to the beautiful hamlet without eating here
