The owners don't seem to have decided on a cohesive style for the restaurant. It's called The Sturgeon but there's no evidence of that fish that I could see. The outside wall by the entrance is painted with a supine Victorian strong man lifting a weight; in the beach side area where we ate there was a WW2 model plane... More

What a joy! A fabulous cenone here following a family baptism. As a result, we based ourselves here at this part if the beach throughout the holiday and enjoyed many a good luncheon, mainly of locally caught, delicious fresh fish. Really friendly staff and good value.

What else would you expect in this sea-side town but to specialize in fish as the restaurant card suggests. We were traveling by car from Bari to our next work assignment when, as three weary travelers, we quickly checked into our hotel and wandered into this place to eat. We had missed the dinner crowd-- just us and the owners.... More

I've been there with my family. Place is stunning, on the beach and service is excellent. Price is good and dishes are huge ( next time I could save a few money sharing with my wife the fried fish instead if having two portions).

Fish dishes are still excellent and they have updated the wi-fi connection so that non Italians can use it. The restaurant seems to be experiencing a down turn due to the Italian economic position and so less staff were on than usual and so the waitresses or sometimes waitress were rushed of their feet. Despite this we were still looked... More

Having gone for years and enjoyed the Spaghetti Vongole, we met a friend there. She dropped off some expensive Xmas presents for our children. We left business cards and publicity for English courses we were doing ... in the hope they would come or at least publicise. We stupidly left the presents behind and did not realise till Christmas Day... More

We ate at this restaurant a number of times. We found the service very good, particularly as the waitress recognised us after our first visit. The fresh food dishes are excellent and are highly recommended. Wifi only works for Italians

If u want to eat some fresh "sea" food, go to Lo Storione. The place is quite big and it's really close to the beach (forget a romantic lunch). The prices are not to high bur guys.. the service is terrible! The waiter forget first the beer then they give me the wrong dish... What can I say, go to... More
