Staff is unprofessinal on restaurant. Season has started and personel do not know the facts: everybody says different things and you just have to guess what is fact. Happy to have wifi to check facts.

staying at the hotel this was a logical choice but from the appetizer ( thuna overcooked ) to the main course , absolutely without taste , bad cooking and very small portions : fresh vermicelle with local shrimps - overcooked pasta and 5 tiny pieces ( poor fishibg area???) and then lamb with potatoes and thyme : lamb overcooked again... Menu is poor, size of dishes is very small, no options, environment overstated. Expensive vs quality. Location in nice but full of mosquitos.

We stayed in the hotel and went for diner. Normally we are not into hotel restaurants but Dama Dama is a great exception. We took the local special pasta and had a great evening, we got a nice local wine to finish it off. A great evening after a nice round of golf. Paradise

Choose a raw prawn carpacio started which was a mistake! Expensive and quite inedible for me and my son, despite us liking raw fish. Everything else was good but not quite worth the money. We staying in the hotel so it was very convenient and the staff were great. We then learnt to choose simpler dishes and the puddings were... More

Excellent service for a lovely meal as you overlook the hills of Argentario down to the water. They immediately offer you an aperativ upon seating you and then have a decent menu of fish and pastas and appetizers. A bit on the pricey side, but very nice.

I do recognize some of the other reviews, but still decide to give it 4 stars. Why, because only one night the food was average, all other 3 nights the food was really good, as was the service and the wines ( though not cheap). I dont know what went wrong the first day, maybe it was because there was... More

Food was just OK but feel that if they are charging so much they should put a little more effort into it. Plus stop letting the wild cats onto the outside seating and keep them from jumping on guests laps while they eat.

At the Dama Dama Restaurant, Executive Chef Mario Cimino proposes based on the flavors and the colors of the local territory. Dishes are prepared using genuine products that come from small, carefully selected local farms and, in some periods of the year, these ingredients come directly from our vegetable garden and orchard. In addition to the classic Mediterranean cuisine, the Chef also proposes the innovative cuisine of the Wellbeing Method conceived by biologist and nutritionist Luca Naitana. It promotes a new concept of wellness centered on reaching a balanced and healthy physical and mental state. The Mediterranean-type diet favors fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, white meat and fresh fish. The Chef recommends the Tasting Menu for those wishing to undertake a voyage among the flavors, the aromas and the colors of the most particular land and sea dishes. The wine cellar offers mainly wines from the Maremma Tuscany. The restaurant was created by the renowned restaurateur Fabrizio Santucci, owner of Il Caminetto in Rome, with the consultancy of Emiliano Lombardelli from Porto Santo Stefano. The Dama Dama is able to please both those guests who care about diet and low-calorie menus tied to golf and spa, as well as those who want to be surprised by innovation and service. For lunch, the restaurant proposes a light and quick cuisine, with one-course plates that balance proteins, carbohydrates and fats in a single dish. A rich, tasty and light meal suitable for anyone!
