We went for lunch at La Marina and the noise made by the cooks and the waiters was impressive. Very loud music and shouting throughout our lunch. We met some friends there and we had to wait for 30 minutes before the waiter cared to take our order. In the middle of his lecture about the menu, he stopped twice... More

An unusual place perfectly positioned on the water and accessible by steep stairs or boat. The menu will be read to you. Nearly everything was delicious especially the fish with garlic/butter sauce; 10 E house white wine. This is the place to splurge and order some extras like anchovies, cactus parmesan!, campo veggies. Only the grilled tuna (on the day... More

Twice found our way here by boat and each time we all enjoyed the atmosphere & delicious simple seafood. The view is great across the bay & beach and friendly helpful team made us laugh. Looking forward to going back.

So you go to a wonderful beach. Via 200 plus steps which you have to walk uo again if you are using the bus. But what a fabulous restaurant. Really jolly service. It's all going on in the kitchen-cooking, dancing , tasting etc . Nice way of serving anything ordered by more than one person at the same table on... More

We ate here twice and it's a favorite. It really is an outdoor restaurant open largely for lunch (but call ahead to ask for dinner like during high season) on the water. There is no written menu so be prepared for listing in Italian very quickly; know your seafoods! We had wine one day; beers the next and pastas with... More

Superb - Solo pesche - 500 steps down to the beach and then an unexpected gem of a restaurant hidden there - crab and lobster pasta followed by grilled fish. Main choice was driven by one large lobster or two slightly smaller. Il posto piu bello del mondo. Ponza baby!!!!

A charming place a bit off the beaten track. But not that difficult to get to, as one can easily get there by bus from Ponza Porto or by boat. Perfect for lunch in combination with the beach next door, in fact we usually go swimming first, then have a long leisurely lunch followed by a nap on the beach.... More

It is not easy to get to there, lots of stair, but when there we though we discovered the paradise of seafood. It is not an posh place, it is a typical pescatore restaurant with amazing seafood. From two times that we had lunch there, I would highly recommend the fish soup (might be considered a bit pricey - 52... More

Leave your pretenses behind. Don't bother with shoes. Pet the dog(s). La Marina is like a little social club...if you've found it..you're in! You're there for the food: swordfish, lobster, trippa al mare, anchovies, rana. Just come with an open mind because only the fish caught that day will show up on your plate. Don't get hung up on what... More

La Marina is a little shack perched on the edge of a charming cove nestled underneath a cliff. You have to climb down at least 100 steps to get there, but the food and the view are well worth the effort. The view across the cove is of turquoise blue water and boats of all sizes bobbing at their moorings.... More
