We have been in Italy for over two weeks… Cinque Terre, Rome, Florence and here in Ponza. This was by far the best meal we have, all ten of us agree. Flavio Coppa and his brother Salvatore have added a unique and creative flare to Italian food. From Jerusalem artichoke purée on perfectly seared tuna to the rye crisps on pistachio cannoli cream, they nailed it!! Best of luck to them!!

Despite so many other restaurants in the port are only there to catch tourists and offer them mediocre products at crazy prices, Punta Bianca is really a happy exception. You could easily miss this place as the entrance is inconspicuous, but inside it's white, bright and fairly deep, with high ceilings. The dishes on the menu seem quite complicated in their descriptions, but in fact highlight the main ingredient - fish. All the ingredients are of the highest quality, and all sing individually, so don't end up a jumbled mess. The fish is predictably perfectly cooked, but the additional elements bolster their flavour.
