Went there once and it was good & basic - it is traditionel food almost home made. The mixed grill was Thin slices of Diff meats but without seasoning. The mix starters was excellent and was by far the Highlight. We had Their own House...red Wine which was good valmue for money. Overall i Would recommend it again.More

You can’t go wrong here as all food is from there own produce and cooked to perfection. We were in marinara for 3 nights and went here twice. Experiment with your choice but above all tell the waiters what you like and they will point...you in the right direction. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Make sure you finished with the lemon tart dessert with almonds on top washed down with the home made finochietto.More

We were lucky to get a table for lunch without a reservation on a rainy Sunday. After the complimentary and perfectly delicious simple bruschetta with olive oil, I chose a selection of local meat and cheese to start and it was fabulous! Salami, prosciutto, speck,...caciocavallo, peccorino pugliese, ricotta and mozzarella, plus 3 bruschetta: one with grilled zucchini, one with grilled peppers and the other with meltingly soft straciatella. My husband started with fried veggies served in a miniature fry basket. YUM! For pasta I had the ragu and my husband chose the gnocchi of ricotta with squash and porchini mushroom sauce. We regret that we were too full to eat anything else. Wonderful service. Would go back in a heartbeat.More

Mattinata was a beautiful discovery and arriving at the perfect time without a booking allowed us to experience the delicious Maniscalco. The simplicity of the toasted slice of bread with local olive oil on arrival made our night. Cannelloni and gnocchi were delicious. Definately worth...a visit and stunning setting outside in the courtyard.More

My 1st recommendation, book your table or you risk to have to go somewhere else. The restaurant is not very big and always full. The service team is warmly welcoming you and helps you out with the menu which is based on fresh products from...their own farm! Great dishes, ideal restaurant for meat lovers and good local wines. We can only confirm that this place is probably the best in town with a great value for money ratio!More

We recommend this restaurant! Homemade fresh food, made with local products. All is tasty, local recipes and flavors. Friendly service. Affordable prices. Don't miss it. But don't forget to book!

The food is very good. The people are very friendly. We do not always trust the ratings of trip advisor. This one is the real nmr 1 of Mattinata.

Lovely place. Good service. Good food. Nice options of wine. Everything we want in a restaurant with reasonable pricing. The housemade desserts deserve special attention!
