We stumbled into this restaurant when strolling central Lecce and what a find it is! First of all we would love to say a big thank you to Fulvio who speaks perfect English and managed to tell us more about typical Pugliese cuisine than we...leaned in 4 previous days! We ordered burrata with cured meats, tomato bruschetta and tomato frisa (typical Pugliese bread) and seafood pasta. On the photo you can see sea bass baked in salt paired with the best rosé of the region. Luigi butchered the fish masterfully for us. Highly recommend this restaurant on your stop in Lecce! Will be missing food like this in London♥️More

What a Surprise, from the moment we seated the atmosphere was really nice, the waiter fulvio was a blast , very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the wine, we followed his raccomandations, everything was delicious from the "spaghetti di gragnano" to the "sea...bass" in salty crust everything was excellent. We were so happy, that we had dinner 3 night in a row.More

We saw this restaurant which was full of people and gave it a shot, which was totally worth it. The food was amazing and they have nice wine, as we speak French they even spoke French to us (a little, but hey, that’s cool !...We don’t speak Italian 🙈) ... A special thanks to Fulvio who let us try a special olive oil (delicious) and told us a really interesting story about Italian cuisine and difference between north and south ! He also gave us good tips about when to visit where in Puglia, but if you want to know about it, we let you ask him directly ;) Clue : it has to do with the windMore

In the old center of Lecce on a perfect spot to enjoy a great extensive tasteful Lunch combined people spotting as lots of tourists walk by. We went there more than once. Service is not always quick, but very friendly and with a lot of...attention for their guests. Food was good and so were their wines.More

We travelled from Vicenza in the north of Italy, via Venice, Assisi, then down the Adriatic coast to Trani & Lecce and everywhere, the Italian version of croissants were filled with apricot jam, custard or the like. Even the plain ('naturale') ones were sugared -...until we had breakfast here. Proper French croissants! I know one can't expect proper French things in Italy, but if, like us, you are not really into cake type fare for breakfast, then this is your place for breakfast. It has a nice, street-facing courtyard, looking onto the side of the church of S. Irene.More

We decided to have lunch here just because the place looked nice and it was in our way. Bad decision: the food was bad and the service slow. A poor octopus stew and an un-eatable bruschetta: The bread was so hard we could not even...cut it with our knives, the topping looked and tasted like they poured a can of tuna over the bread. I had to stand up to pay the cashier directly because our waiter just forgot about us after handing over the check. I cannot recommend it.More

Stopped here for a late lunch whilst wandering around the beautiful city of Lecce. I had the octopus with potato which was OK but overcooked, and seemed like it had been simmering for a while! My wife had a chicken Caesar salad, which she enjoyed.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance one lunchtime and were not disappointed, we even went back one evening as well. Although most will seat outside, we opted to take a table inside as it was so hot and it was also charming in the...evening. The food is extremely well presented, very tasty and also very competitively priced. We had the entrecote and the polpo in pignata in the evening and the frittura di gamberi and soute di cozze one lunch time. All great. The restaurant also take great delight in recommending the local wines to match what you have chosen to eat. Again all great. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Do give it a tryMore

Touristic location, but also authentic Lecce citizens go to this bar - restaurant. Ideal for appetizers and for having a chat with friends. You can also visit the linked bookshop "Liberrima". Prices are average and the food is good enough. Advisable.

The location is nice but the service is terrible. If you are not from here forget it. I‘m italian but was not enough to get what other „local‘s“ got only sorry the kitchrn is closed. Local beer is good but 5€ for 0.33. Never ever...againMore
