Lovely cafe with good food and gelato. Always busy but worth the small wait for a table. Family run but done well. Love the cheese cake gelato

Good selection of icecreams, sweet bakings such as sweet ricotta paste filled cannoli's. Friendly service, popular terrace and coffee bar next to the beach road in the corner (busy and a lot of car trafic). They have second location (more traditional pasticceria) in the upper main road. I recommend.

A local gathering spot that make some of the best pastries in town. Good coffee and teas. No rushing here. Try the ricotta filled turnover that is fried - once!

Granita Breakfast is the cherry on the cake when traveling in Sicily. Here don't hesitate to go for almond and pistachio granita with citrus perfumed brioche. Fantastic.

Popped in for a snack, we ordered 4 arancini, ragu, mushroom, cheese and spinach. They were dry and flavourless, with hardly any filling. They were pretty much just all rice. Also you could tell the oil they used to fry it in was old. We didn't try the desserts, but if you want to try arancini while in sicily, I... More

Salamone has one of the best Granita I ever had in Sicily (and I have tried many). We were a regular customers while in Giardine. The owner and staff are incredibly kind (even if at times things can get really busy, especially in summer!). We had the chance to visit their "laboratorio" (where they make the granita, ice-creams and pastries) and... More

Found by accident and returned for the only proper cup of tea we found. Excellent cakes and smooth jazz music hidden away

The best desserts you can get in Sicily are here! Every time I'm in town my day always starts there. The best granita, cornetti, brioches and what not! For those who cannot live without 5 o'clock - Pasticceria Salamone is the destination: wide range of tea selection accompanied with many kinds of biscotti. Totally love it! Respect Egidio)))
