The restaurant is old but quaint. The menu is varied and the food is good and the service is excellent. Probably the best value for money in town and certainly the friendliest service

Quite nice food, reasonable priced but not super cheap, service is friendly. Would say that maybe tries to be a little bit fancier place than it should be, stick to the basics because it's all fine :) Tiramisu was very yummy!

The owners of this restaurant come from a tradition of hospitality. Anecdote : when the chef was a kid and asked in elementary school what he wanted to do when he grew up, he consistently said "chef"! that show passion and passionate are every items on the menu! Quality at good price!

Professional staf, no extra's, good food, no surprises. Good price/ quality. About twenty tables. Many foreign visitors, no locals. If you want something special go to another place, if you want just a nice Italian meal you will be satisfied.

This felt like one of the top restaurants in Cortina. It serves excellent meats and hand made pastas.

We were simply not expecting high quality cruising in Cortina. Our first nite, the food was OK at a different restaurant. We picked this one simply because the restaurant offered lamb and it was across the street from our hotel. Overall, the meal was excellent and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend Pontejel.

If you want old world alpine ambience combined with great typical food for the region at reasonable prices, this place is it. centrally located slightly off the main street, it is also fun to watch the people who are eating and drinking around the ages and bars i the area.

Our hotel recommended Pontejel. We got a table with no reservation although it was Sunday evening and they were quite busy. Have to say this was the best Italian food we have had after a week in Italy. The food was freshly prepared and the service was professional and sharp, although they could smile a bit more. Desserts were especially... More

We were staying at the hotel (which is quite decent), and the restaurant was recommended to us by someone else. Perhaps there had been a staff turnover, as the service was comically inept. First, we were entertained by a young fellow struggling manfully to open our wine bottle, verging on Mr. Bean Becomes a Sommelier. After finally getting the foil... More
