In the past my experience had been quite mixed but now consistently good. Rice with lobster, described as a risotto but really a Tuscan one was excellent and included a whole lobster, my wife had rice with seafood which was also very good and for starter we had a mixed seafood anti pasta. Pleasant service and reasonably priced.

We stayed in Montieri and drove over to the coast for lunch. We found this warf side fish restaurant and took a chance. Fish soup was good. Broth delicious. Spaghetti with clams and muscles was suitable. Fried fish platter ok but nothing special. House wine ok. Best thing about the meal was the desert. Catalana was best ever tasted and... More

Even if it's a fish resturant I tried a meat dish: filetto with pepe verde. The meat was overcooked and immersed in a cheese sauce pool which was completely hiding - was it done on purpose - the meat taste.

Lovely little spot - they have an English menu but no one spoke a word. We managed to figure out what the specials were and they were delicious. The place was filled with locals and their families - kids running wild - but the grilled calamari was the best I have ever tasted

After wonderfully warm and friendly service in other Tuscan restaurants this place was a great disappointment. The lady who 'served' us (quite possibly the owner too) was clearly inconvenienced by having to come to our table, speak to us and take our order. She spoke in a bored voice, failed to make eye contact and purposefully steered us away from... More

We originally tried this place a few years ago and enjoyed it so much we wanted to return on our most recent trip to Italy. We were not disappointed. Even though the spaghetti in parchement was not on the menu, they made it for us and it was as delicious as we remembered it. One other thing we remembered is... More

Just had dinner in this nice restaurant, food wad definetely good and price more than reasonable for a fish restaurant in castiglione: 60 euro for 2 "primi", 2 "secondi", a mini bottle of wine. Service is not at his best here but i would totally recommend this place and i will come back.
