Seriously, we could smell it after we had cappuccino down the hill, so we followed our noses and found the most amazing ever treats. We bought little rolls filled with chocolate, which were slightly pear in flavor. But they have every baked good and the neighbors all meet there for coffee. YUM!

Dropped in for coffee and pastry late one wet October afternoon. Nice service, lovely pastries, also bought some pre boxed gifts for our folks back home - unless I eat them first...

Great coffee and friendly service, Adele and her staff always have a smile for everyone. Prepare for a queue on a Sunday morning as it is the place to be for a quick bite. One thing which flies off the shelf is their home baked Marmalata cornetti. Lighter than a croissant but filled with apricot jam, just out of the... More

The streets are so narrow, forget about looking for an awning. Therefore you need to know where you're going. Best not to say anything really for fear of getting future patrons too excited.....but, if your bar is high for coffee, this is a must.

We visited this bakery every morning of our stay. The children loved the chocolate and pear pastries and an amazing one they called the 'Nutella volcano'. Coffee is excellent as are their hot chocolates- too thick said my 7 year old! (Not a problem for me). The weather wasn't good enough to sit outside during our stay but I can... More

We made several stops here during our stay in Cernobbio. Coffee was the best I had during 9 days in Italy. Can also recommend the chocolate eclair, crostada (fruit tart), and the cornetto con formaggio e prosciutto

This is a "must" stop in Cernobbio...as one walks out of the Villa D'Este HOtel. The staff is warm and kind and it has the appearance of a tea room. The salads are fantastic and fresh..the pastries excellent and the ice cream wonderful. A wonderful place to hang out. Ask for Jolanda to wait on you...she is fabulous.

A lovely quiet immaculate courtyard. My husband had a Tuna Salad and I had Caprese. We had complimentary bread rolls and the quality of the ingredients was very good. We finished with coffee and a trio of pastries which we shared. All very tasty. The service and value for money was also excellent. Not a huge choice on the menu... More

This is the best cafe / pastry shop on the lake. Top capuccino, delicious brioche and do not be surprised to walk into a hollywood star who stay at the hotel nearby. If you are in cernobbio you cannot leave without passing by at poletti!!
