Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The starter platter of meats, cheese and bruschetta was absolutely fantastic. We are the platter for 2 between two adults and two kids and I must say that almost finished me off. My sea bream and greens was very good; as were the gnocchi and...pizzas enjoyed by the others. The tiramisu was fantastic.More

Very good meal. Big portions and the most amazing pasta with seafood that we ever eaten. Friendly staff that talked good English. Nice and quiet. Good for a late lunch or early dinner.

We had a lovely dinner in Il Vicolo. We had a starter with salami, mozzarella and bruchetta, that tasted really good. Than we had pizza that tasted just the way you would expect from a good Italian pizza. We also liked the homemade limoncello, that...was served on the house. The waiters were very polite and helpful (also in English). Really would recommend this place!More

Delicious food and great service/hosts! The menu presents a diverse choice of Neapolitan seafood, meat, pasta and great Neapolitan pizza. The place to dine with the locals.

As my wife and I do not speak Italian, we were happy that the lady who served us, not only spoke very good English, she was also very helpful in explaining the menu, with very good selection. We did not feel hurried into making our...order, nor did we feel encourage to leave when we had eaten our meal. We ate at this restaurant three times in our week's stay, and we enjoyed every meal. The food was excellent, as was the service and the prices were reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending it to any visitor.More

This seems to be the latest hot spot in Arezzo. The menu is small, including just a few fish selections and a few non-fish items, as well as a list of pizzas, but the emphasis here is definitely on the fish. Be careful to specify...the quantity of food you want, or you will end up with too much. Portions are more than generous. Our group of four started with a plate of fresh oysters, which were nothing special compared with offerings in New England or Brittany. Then we shared two paccheri all’astice, with reduced portions of the pasta. Most of the lobster meat was incorporated into a rich tomato-based sauce, which tasted wonderful with the al dente pasta. Then came a big piece of tuna for two of us and a big piece of swordfish for the other two. The tuna could hardly have been better, cooked gently and pink inside (as the menu specifies). I don’t know about the swordfish, but it looked beautiful. We didn’t quite finish all the food and could not consider a dolce. A bottle of Franciacorta Brut accompanied everything perfectly. We will be back, especially to try the spaghetti alle vongole and the pizzas.More

I came across this place by random. I was out looking for a place to eat italien food, and I desided to see what they had after looking at the sign outside. It was all in italien, so I figured this place was authentic. When...I came inside I was seated straight away by a smiling young lady. She gave me the meny and offered to translate, as it was all in italien. I ordered a spicy pizza wich was delicious. And the service was superb. If you dont speak italien, just as for Rebecca, and she will make sure your visit is perfect. /JohnMore

The food was good, but the waiter (tattoo-guy) seemed drunk and forsed us 4 to take the same food however nobody else was in the restaurant. He pushed us to take more drinks and food than we wanted. After a discussion, another waiter took over...and we spend a wonderfull dinner in Il Vicolo.More

There's the usual pasta and pizza- all good. However- order the fish! Brought in fresh daily and beautifully prepared. I worked in Arezzo for a month and are here several times. Consistently delicious food, great service and lovely patio atmosphere.

Ignore the unappealing entrance and enter "Il Vicolo" (the narrow Napels street). Friendy, family-run restaurant, specialised in seafood and freshly made pastas. Excellent food, generous portions, good draft beers and fair prices. One of the best in Tuscany.

This is a typical Italian restaurant, with a pleasant decor inside and excellent food. The service was also good. It is near to lots of historic attractions. We were tired of walking and this was the closest restaurant, It was a good choice.
