Took the Hubby here for his 50th birthday - and it certainly didn't disappoint. The dining room is simple and unadorned - painted in calming pink hues. There's no music, so at first it feels a little sterile, but as soon as it fills up...More

First visit and certainly not the last one to the incredible restaurant of Enrico Crippa located on the first floor of a nice dining room with a splendid view on Piazza Risorgimento - Alba. As soon as you cross the door, you enter another dimension...More

It's absolutely top. One of my best tasting menu ever. The visit is worth of long journey. We have eaten almost 10 amuse-bouche before regular menu and it was great experience for all senses. Beautiful journey thru the italian cuisine with some japaness inspirations. Grande...More

We've eaten at other 3 star Michelin restaurants (and many other top places in the world) and our meal at Piazza Duomo definitely ranks among the top 5 meals we've ever had (along with Alinea, French Laundry, L'Arpege, and the omakase at O Ya in...More

We enjoyed the traditional degustation menu (there was a more 'avant garde' version as well as a la carte options) with the wine pairing. The dishes were spectacular. It was very special to meet Chef Enrico Crippa as well. Well worth the visit!!

We had an outstanding lunch here. The staff is very friendly and sincere. The room is peaceful and modern. The wine list is a work of art and of course the food is brilliant. Bravo

Our trips or often built around restaurant reservations or farmers markets or any culinary experiences we may have heard of or read about. We are slowly working our way through the San Pellegrino's list of the 50 Best, which not only allows us to experience,...More

The food was great. We got a tasting menu with wine pairings for $600, which is what we expected to pay. You get ~30 or so small plates and each is technically beautiful and unlike anything we've tasted before. We loved most and didn't care...More

I had the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was excellent. Wasn't too happy with the wine pairing. Most impressive were some of the greens, i have never seen or heard of before, grown in their own garden. Deserts were not that...More

As it is a 3 starred restaurant and quite high on 50 best, the price follows. I would not ask how much it is but. Is it worth it? And I would say yes, every plate is artwork, and the wine list is quite amazing. So, as... More

I highly recommend Casa Boffa in Barbaresco, a short drive from Alba. Beautiful rooms, reasonably priced. Very nice breakfasts. You do have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the room.

Well, I would definitely dress decently, i.e. not jeans, tshirts, etc. It's not formal but a decent pair of trousers and long sleeved shirt for men and a nice smart dress or trouser suit for ladies is more appropriate... More
