I tend not to make this type of comments about places. But unfortunately we had a bad experience at this restaurant. It was a special day for Agrigento. They were celebrating the Sagra del Mandorlo in Fiore. And as we could tell they were overwhelmed by the amount of people. We always had to ask for attention when we wanted... More

We were in Agrigento Italy again this year for Christmas and we were delighted to be able to return to the Ambassador! This restaurant is a must see if you are ever in Old City of Agrigento. While it’s true that many never get beyond the temples and up into the old city, I can tell you from experience that... More

This restaurant is in the old town and has a verandah with a lovely view. More important the food is outstanding, the pasta the best we had and the service was excellent too. Had we stayed in Agrigento longer we would have eaten there everyday.

We had visited the valley of the Temples on a cool January day and spent ages looking for somewhere to eat in the late afternoon before going back to Palermo. This was just what we needed a very pleasant and Straightforward restaurant. The rustica starter was excellent with a wide range of vegetables plus a large sardine. The pasta dishes... More

I believe this is a mom-pop operation which is just off the main drag Atenia. It was recommended by our host at the BnB. We both had a half litre of very good wine plus the salmon and asperagus paella. Wonderful!!! The host was very helpful and her English was quite good. We would very much recommend this restaurant if... More

We were in Agrigento for a day sightseeing and came upon the hidden gem at a back street on route down from the cathedral. Great location with plenty shade. Try the seafood linguine and a cold beer. Good value for money

Dined in the recommendation of our B&B host. The manageress was very friendly and welcoming. Initial service was a little slow but overall Ok. There were plenty of local dishes on the menu, all reasonably priced. Not a very extensive wine list but this is not unusual in Sicily. We had a very nice meal 3 course. However, our wine... More

They have terrace with nice view, you also can stay inside small restaurant if weather get cold or rain. Fast service by a young woman waitress. Good cook! Try home made ravioli , seafood grill, they knew how to cook vegetables to keep flavour and test, not like vegys puree.

We stopped off for lunch here when visiting Agrigento Old town. The restaurant is located just off the Via Atenea, the main street through the old town, and is a popular stopping off point for tourists, who can enjoy the great view over the town to the sea while dining. The food was very good and won't break the budget,... More

The food here is very good, both the pasta and meat dishes we had were well prorated and delicious. The view from the terrace during the day is excellent, at night the atmosphere is pleasant in this almost-pedestrian street. Friendly and efficient service.
