Been here several times and the food has always been good quality. Word of caution for dog owners though - we booked a table for Sunday lunch and brought the dog (website says dogs allowed just not in bedrooms), but were then told dogs are only allowed in the pub area and not the restaurant. They managed to accommodate us... More

Went to The Rashleigh to eat on Tuesday afternoon. So disappointed could not find a table that had been cleaned inside or outside. Pub not that busy, just not cared for. Seems to me like this beautiful pub has become just another plastic palace, that needs a good landlord/lady in control.

My partner and I visited on 10/04/17 at 8pm for a late tea. We sat in the bar area as it was quiet and we liked the booths to sit in. I had to lemon & thyme chicken and partner had ham, egg and chips The food came out hot and was tasty! My meal was huge and was a... More

Went here today for a roast. Wasn't disappointed, all food looked and tasted amazing. We went for the regular plate but should have gone for the small as we were given a big portion of meat. Friendly and attentive staff. One side is a regular pub and the other is a restaurant, good size beer garden to sit out in.... More

Stopped in for a quick pint before going back to the hotel room. The place was heaving, and there were different areas for quieter conversations, plus a restaurant. Saw food coming out, and it looked very nice, will try next time if we are able to veganise.

Went here for the Sunday lunch carvery, we were not disappointed. The food was very good, reasonably priced, as was the wine.Would go back again.

Nice pub, although in my view a little over lit to be cosy for my liking. Had rump steak with a cheese sauce, steak was well cooked but average, the rest of the food was well above average and portion size was great. Staff were good too.

Visited this pub for a couple of hours when our coach stopped in Charlestown. Lovely place, especially the beer garden when the sun is shining. Nice selection of real ales, just up our street. Didn't sample the food but it seemed very popular with other people that were there.

We hadn't been to the Rashleigh Arms for some years. We liked the new look, very inviting, choice of tables. Lunch menu was a little limited, if you just wanted a snack / light bite, but we settled on the lamb kofta (fabulously tasty) and the ham, egg and chips - very generous with the ham. Sadly, it took us... More

This pub has become a real favourite with us, fab view, dog friendly place and amazing burgers! Highly recommend the brie and cranberry ones they are tasty - we run the village shop in Tywardreath and regularly come here with our team for a working lunch treat. We are particularly fond of their fluffy cat, v friendly.

Description
The Pub has moved with times and although over 150 years old boasts eight four star gold rated rooms, a public bar, popular with the locals that shows all live sport and has great bands every fortnight. Our lounge bar is fantastic for relaxing in with large leather sofas and armchairs with a touch of historic Charlestown. The restaurant is modern, open plan and serves locally sourced food. And if the weather's good our patio and garden is the ideal place to spend a few hours or more!
