Great brewery with easy booking online and good covid procedures when entering but let down by organisation at the bar. We were standing on the social distancing stickers waiting our turn to buy a glass and takeaway beers( which you have to do at the bar ) and multiple people pushed in and went straight up to the bar and were leaning on it. None of the staff at the bar told them to wait or that there was a line. There needs to be a single file line or staff need to be more aware especially with covid procedures meant to be in place. It was really disappointing after having some good drinks and food there. The girls seating people could also tell customers where you go to order when ready. We would go back to give it another go as the drinks, food and vibe were good. Just was disappointing feeling walked over at the end when we were doing the right thing.

We called in here after doing some bike riding in Yamba. We are staying at Brooms Head caravan park. What a magical place. The beer is exceptional, the food is spectacular. We shared a bowl of Seafood Chowder and some Charred Lamb kebabs with flatbread, salad, hummus and garlic Yoghurt. Absolutely delicious. The service is excellent. We'll be back.

Drove for over an hour to try this recent establishment on the Northern Rivers, and was not dissapointed. The food was prepared and served with great care, and could not be faulted. Woodfired pizza done exceptionally well, quiet authentic. Beef and stout pie with mash was just great. Sorry I did not try the beers, they looked super inviting, but I was driving. Very spacious area located in an industrial district, so no views, but good live music was on offer. Bar and table service very good. Frankly, I want to go back. Firstly to try all the beers, and secondly, to try all the menu.

Sensational setting, building building and infrastructure. . Loads of attention to detail in fit out and brewery . . But sadly the food offering . . The Buddha bowl with one piece of chicken and fish and chips could have been better. Serve is ‘smaller’ for the price paid. The G & T came with a flat tonic or soda water (not sure) Beer was Good.

Hey Donna - sorry to hear our food didn't live up to your, or our, expectations. We'll pass this on to our kitchen team to improve and grow. Hopefully you'll give us another shot and come back again soon.

Only reason I have given an average score is because the BEER and service is so average in most of Australia ? And therefore , it may seem so great hear, to Ausys that dont travel much . Otherwise its ok. Except for high TECH menu you cant use unless have a high TECH ph. Just think is over the top. Simple summery menu would be better for older foke , when swamped with Regulations...?

Fantastic atmosphere, great set up with indoor and outdoor tables. The beer was great, would have preferred to be able to choose own beers for the tasting paddle (We've been to a lot of breweries and this is the first time we could not choose the tasters). We ordered fish tacos which were great and a pizza, which was ok (we are very picky when it comes to pizza). We drove from Yamba, about 20min, so one of us had to limit drinks so we could drive back (courtesy bus not operating at the moment).

Where should we stop for lunch? Sanctus Brewery Maclean. Where the hell is that? Not far off the motorway. Okay let's do that. We arrived at the appointed time and I thought we had arrived outside a footy ground, not a bit of parking to be had. If they got rid of all the storage sheds and left it for travellers (okay just kidding) but the more parking you could have a SCG/MCG type crowd. Seriously WOW (we had booked ahead) glad we did. Others in the party were already ensconced at the table and hoeing in. We ordered food, snazzy way to do it from your table (we've been living in the bush a while now!!!) Got others the booze and this is the FIRST time I've ever been to a Brewery and drunk WATER, there have been plenty of visits over a nearly long life! Food was just great, quickly presented, tasty and of good variety. To quote the Brewery's blurb, "we are a brewery that serves food, not a restaurant that serves beers". Says it all don't you reckon. In our case being MNC residents we will plan a drive back up to Sanctus with an overnighter nearby and in my case I won't have to drink too much water. OR worry about parking. Well done Sanctus.

Great afternoon lunch with Ryan Martin and beers. After starting with a beer paddle we went onto enjoying their snacks and food. Their sweet potato wedges are delicious. But their Cuban sandwich is amazing. Ryan Martin was performing and we were amazed by his cover of Dance Monkey. So good. Thank you!

This place is a must! We dined here while visiting with family in the area. There is plenty of street and off street parking and the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere especially at night. I would recommend booking as it was packed when we were there. We ordered Chicken , Bacon and BBQ sauce pizza, a Spicy Mammas Pizza, 2 x Steak meals and some Jalapeño poppers. We all ordered their brand Ginger beer. The pizzas were incredible but I caution, the Spicy mammas pizza was very spicy but delicious. The Steaks were cooked to perfection and very tender. And the Jalapeño poppers were fireball spicy! Thank goodness for the Ginger Beer, we all needed it after the poppers, but we still ate them all. Last of all their brand Ginger Beer, now I am a connoisseur of Ginger Beer and without a doubt this was the nicest Ginger Beer that I have ever had, absolutely beautiful! We all had an amazing night, in the great ambience of the dining room and the food and drink. They have an outdoor dining area as well as indoor. I highly recommend going here for a meal or drink if in the area and if you love Ginger Beer you have to try theirs. I am counting down the days until I go again.

Nice atmosphere and brewery setup but the beers and food well below average. Other local micro brewery's in this area are much nicer for food and drink. The food was highly expensive and not a lot of filling on the pizzas except for the garlic pizza that had whole cloves and layers of garlic ...yuk. Beer was terrible and didn't buy any. Nicest drink was the ginger beer!! Also no explanation of what the beer tastings contain eg.% of alcohol and ingredients. Give it a miss plenty of others around to try.

We booked a table for lunch on Father’s Day with another family. From the minute we arrived, we were met by friendly and attentive staff that clearly enjoy working here. The gin paddles and beer tasting were a hit! Gluten free pizzas were delicious, especially the prawn one, and our children loved the Kids platter, such a cool idea! The brewery has a lovely relaxed feel and the acoustic singer was a lovely touch! We will be back again next time we are down that way! Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

Firstly, book in advance! This places is super popular (and for good reason) and was packed the day we visited. Food is great! We tried the meatballs and a burger - the burger was excellent, super juicy meat, great toppings and ginormous. I wasn't too fussed on the potatoes it came with. They were meant to be crispy and they were just ok. The beer gravy was great though! The meatballs were nice, but not so much to my personal taste although my husband really loved them. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries - oddly they didn't have regular fries as an option but I actually prefer sweet potato, so these were delicious. The beers are great and plenty to try out. I had a wine (a sin at a brewery according to some!) and it was a lovely one. Great that there's space for the kids to race around outside although a few toys or play equipment would take this place to 5 stars. Highly recommend, fab spot for food or just drinks.

I found this place on google maps and booked it for New Years Eve, as we were staying the night in the area. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and professional. We were shown to our table and told how the ordering of food worked. You ordered your food online and it is delivered to your table. No standing in a long line to order. Love that. When it rained they managed to accommodate some people who were seated outside in the undercover outdoor area. We were given a box to take home our leftovers in. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Plates were cleared from the table promptly. Couldn't really fault the wait staff. There were two bar areas operational, which made things quicker. My partner liked the ginger beer. Has indoor and outdoor dining. We were outside undercover. Despite being busy the meals were delivered promptly. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

Caught up with some friends on the October Long Weekend, in between lunch and dinner sittings. And you can't buy a bowl of chips for a snack or for the kids. What a joke! Personally, don't think it's a great business decision not selling a bowl of chips on their own and only with a burger or meal. Missing out on a lot of sales there. Pizza was nice, as was the crisp pork bits, however the salad would have been a lot nicer with less or no chili. Also, no playground for the kids, so make sure you take a soccer ball or a something for them to do/ play/ watch. Otherwise, it's quiet boring for them. Otherwise, premises was tidy and clean looking so good on the staff that work hard to accomplish this. All interactions with staff were pleasant and they were helpful and polite.

If you are travelling on the Pacific Coast highway, then this is a good place for a stop, just minutes off the motorway. This is a working brewery so the tables are to one side (and outside) which means the beer is fresh and on tap. It was pretty busy when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon (only open 12-4) but we were able to sample a few schooners and their excellent home made pizza. A joy.
