We booked here as it worked well with a walk we were doing that morning. The pub itself is fairly pretty set in a quiet rural location. On arriving we were shown to a table close the roaring fire, which was just what we needed...More

Fantastic rural location in Woolhope Herefordshire. The Butchers Arms has a special low beaned dining area with a wide variety of choice. The food is sourced locally and often using products grown on the premises. A parrot called Max welcomes visitors! We have not had...More

Me and my partner recently visited the butchers arms. The lady our front was friendly, and it was fairly busy. Our main courses were well presented and tasty. The Pudding was very poor, the Pannacotta had far to much gelatine in and tasted off, steep...More

The Butchers Arms is a gem. It's a proper quaint English pub in a tiny village. The staff are amazing, the two young people who served my wife and I were so polite and helpful. The food was amazing, beautifully cooked and presented and perfect...More

A lovely old half-timbered pub in gorgeous countryside 8 miles SE of Hereford and a few miles from Ledbury, Ross and Malvern. Run by chef Stephen Bull. The pub's food is sourced from local ingredients, and there are cask ales and local cider and perry. The Butchers runs regular special food and wine evenings (dates posted on website). Large garden with stream for nice days, two roaring fires in the winter. Separate room bookable for parties. Family and dog friendly. Warm welcome.
