If you are after a casual lunch Mr Grubb will give you that. Plenty of parking available. Staff are friendly and efficient. The wine list covered most bases and of course had many Oakdene wines on offer. Our vegetarian friend was able to find some...options. I went with the terrine and bow buns. The terrine was very average ! It tasted very mass produced and lacked depth and flavour. As for the buns, slightly overpriced And just average in flavour.More

Drive in was pleasant but the restaurant felt dark as we sat inside and the atmosphere was ok. Met with friends. The menu was extensive. I had the gnocchi with vegetables and my dish had lots of variety of vegetables, however it was a bit...soupy and I'd prefer my gnocchi without all the sauce. The others had the vegetable penne, burger and popcorn chicken which went down well. Kids meals available with some choice and they enjoyed their meals. There was no activity with menu for kids so make sure you bring something with you. Service was attentive.More

I go here often and usually for lunch. I recently went there for dinner and was very disappointed to say the least. Yes, it was during the summer holidays and the place was quite busy. My companions ordered a lamb dish which was OK, I...ordered fish and chips which is something I often eat there and always enjoy. Well - the fish was so overcooked it was dreadful and difficult to eat, there were far too many French fries on the plate and a very small serve of salad which looked like it had been thrown together. We usually order desert - we didn't as we were all disappointed with the main course - we left.More

After reading lovely reviews we were totally disappointed in our entrees. The calamari were stringy and looked like they were store bought. The hand made spring rolls were not crispy, tasted stale and again question if they were home made. Our mains faired much better....The young staff members need to show a bit more personality and not look so terrified. A simple request for serviettes took ages and then we only received one for our whole table.More

Professional service and outstanding variety are the hallmarks of this vineyard restaurant. As one of the first to reopen when restrictions lifted in late 2020, it has become a regular go-to for lazy Sunday lunches. The menu is genuinely pan-cuisine and the wine list is...generous and well-priced. Nestled amongst the trees looking to the vineyards, this is a lovely spot to while away an afternoon.More

We had a full bottle of sparkling wine prior to our orders arriving. Our orders arrived later than other people who placed there orders after us, not really impressed at all.

Had a work Christmas function here and I cannot speak highly enough of the food. I had bao buns with crispy pork belly and they were spectacular! I had the lamb with cous cous & Laban with the lemon tart for dessert. Just so good....Thoroughly enjoyed my meal as did everyone else. Our waiter was friendly and all meals arrived in a timely manner. Love coming here. Will be backMore

Hey the place was clean and the menu was decent. Food itself was top stuff and served promptly. We had their 2017 Cabernet - perfect! Bought a bottle to take home.

Perfect Weather allowed for our party of six to dine outside with shade from the trees to make an excellent lunch. The menu has a great selection with all our meals being fresh and delicious with large portions that are very filling. We can guarantee...that you will not be disappointed with a visit to Mr Grubb!More

Depending on what your looking for and how many are going. But yes if it's a casual dinner, you would need to book though. Not sure about the cake but their service is great so just give them a call.

Hi, Yes, there is plenty of room indoors for large groups. We have a 2 course ($39) or a 3 course ($45) group menus on offer, which you can download from our website.
