I drive the Hamilton Highway lots and always look forward to stopping here when it’s open. The coffee is excellent and the vegan raw chocolate slice is magic and I’m not vegan. It is a teeny bit more expensive than some, as some of these reviews have said, but the quality and integrity of everything is absolutely worth it. And you’ll always have great service from the friendly and efficient staff.

What a lovely little place! The staff were all absolutely delightful - very friendly and happy, all with a sense of humour too! We were only going to stop for a coffee for the food looked so attractive that we decided to share a foccacca too. Simple, but delicious...well toasted, cheese melted perfectly and the chicken was tender and tasty.
The coffee was also excellent.
The decor is light and bright, lots of space between tables, so we didn't feel squashed in.
All in all a positive experience, and we'll make sure we visit again when we're in the town.

Picked this cafe for its shaded outdoor tables which were not right on the roadside. Very busy so had to queue for awhile just wanted coffees and muffins. Coffee to hot and delivered to the table with no sugar. Hot chocolate tasted of cocoa powder so very bitter. Savoury muffin very dry and tasteless. Sweet muffin full of fruit and delicious. Staff behind the counter when I asked for water bowl for my dog said there was one outside. I couldn’t find it anywhere and then young man clearing table beside us offered to get our dog some water. He also couldn’t find bowl outside.

This great little cafe appeared to be perfect.
Advertised GF organic whole foods and lots of great health foods and indigenous books.
What a disappointment to have to wait so long for GF toasted sandwich. The staff member who served did his best but the gf toastie was firstly made on regular bread and so was asked if coeliac ? answer : yes but I guess it implied that what I asked for could be ignored for the sake of inconvenience.
Took forever to make and the place was over priced. 2 kiddie gf toasties plus an egg and bacon roll = $38. Seriously I left disappointed a shame really - I’m not sure the place lives it’s values based on that experience. Bakery might be better option next time I hear they have GF toasties

Really enjoy Sonnys … lovely food. But … when you arrive at 1.50pm and closing time is 3.00pm to be told “ kitchen closed” apparently at 2.00pm is rather disappointing. Offered what was on display cakes and slices. Not to worry. Just walk up the road closer to the hotel and enjoy a lovely range of food from a little bakery. One way to lose customers is to turn them away.

What a ripper of a place in quiet Inverleigh. The coffees are first rate along with the food - we enjoyed a nourish bowl and the Swedish brownie (together a balanced meal 🤣). A perfect place to stop for a quality breakfast or lunch or coffee.

Passing thru Inverleigh stopped for a coffee here. Friendly service and selection of small eats, was a pleasant stop sitting outside on a warm day. Selection of good to purchase inside also.

Fantastic cafe and shop. This was one of my all-time favourite cafes and general organic food shops During my month long trip from Noosa to Tasmania. And amazing range of books. Cooking and otherwise including great kids books. An amazing range of organic foods and produce for such a small shop and at excellent prices. Excellent coffee and cake. Wish it was in my town. You are a very lucky town in Inverleigh to have such a great place!

A surprisingly good cafe in Inverleigh, a 20 minute drive from Geelong, along the Hamilton Highway. Great atmosphere in a rural village location with easy parking. Excellent coffee, wide range of menu options, relaxed atmosphere, indoor and outdoor dining options and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Market Place coffee, served perfectly hot and presented well. Nice flavoured Earl Grey tea. Good choice light snacks. Clean unisex toilets. Very pleasant and prompt service.

A lot of Ayurvedic books and products, wonderful wholefoods cookbooks.

One of the usual Pitstops along the way, during a long drive. Laid back & relaxed atmosphere , great for toilet breaks & coffee/snacks. Nice atmosphere.

This ‘whole food’ cafe is spot-on. An imaginative, healthy, full-flavour menu covers off on any appetite. Mine was the cheese and salad ciabatta with free range bacon - delicious and juicy. Then the banana macadamia smoothie - Wow! Superb!
