Went for a fillet steak rare. Although rare in middle the outside was actually carbonised which ruined the taste of whole steak. No apology and generally poor service throughout. Live local but won't go there ever again.

Just had a really lovely meal at The Chequers at Burcot. The setting is lovely and the staff are friendly and professional. The food was excellent. Nicest steak I have had in a long time. Can highly recommend.

Yes, not in the restaurant but in the bar and bar eats area. You will find *almost* all eateries on the north Norfolk coast allow dogs.
