From the outside you'd wish you had this place on your doorstep. Lovely original pub restaurant in a beautiful little village. Inside the same welcoming and roaring fire with great decor. The bread basket that came was the most delicious piece of bread I have...More

Have visited several times in the past and recommended to many and, until today, faultless. Prices seem to have increased in direct disproportionate to serving size and quality. Starters were meagre, considering the £12-£13 charge. Crab totalled approximately 1 tablespoon accompanied by a pink acidic...More

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times in the last couple of years and it is always brilliant. In my view Michelin star quality food, really great service and a great (good value too) wine list. If you’re in the area a must!

We treated a client to afternoon tea at The Bay Horse recently and it was delicious. The party had several dietary requirements (nut-free, gluten free and vegetarian) which were all catered for. It was the best gluten-free afternoon tea I've had. You usually don't get...More

Description
The Bay Horse retains an emphasis on the finer details of a real old English pub, hand pulled local ales in dimple glasses and side dishes served in copper pans. The menu is made up of classic British cooking with a twist & has a strong emphasis on flavours & presentation. The premise has achieved a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the last four years.
