This local restaurant very much reflecting the character of the owner who is very friendly and helpful...provides a lot of information about food and wines. He is also a licensed sommelier. Very cozy setting, tables are not squeezed and service efficient. Definitely not to miss if you are staying in the surrounding area.

E really nice family-run business, and it delivers day after day. The pasta they make is outstanding and I have tried the cod on two occassions this summer. Enjoy.

After years of seeing the La Milonga signs along the road and wondering why they've named an eatery in Monferrato after a South American music, the other night we went there for dinner. We were a group of five, and the first people there at 8 p.m. The owner apologetically showed us the empty dining room and said it was... More

Second time over the last two years and I like it. Friendly staff serving good food. Prices are ok and they have a good selection of local wines. Can recommend this one.

I had a mix of typical Piedmontese starters (vittello tonnato (veal & tuna), raw meet, stuffed zuccini flowers), wich was good. Then we shared risotto. Very good and very much. Home made, of cource! Dessert, apple cake, that could have been better. Typical family-run restaurant (allways father serving/wining :-) Few guests at lunch.

I was staying in the area alone for vacation and ended up eating at this restaurant for 3 of the nights I was there. Everyone was friendly, the food was great (and I tried a lot of it) and there's a nice selection of plates to choose from. I hope that I can return in the future sometime - great... More
