A lovely bungalow cottage set on the Hook, run by a couple clearly passionate about what they do & how they do it! There was so much love & care for how everything went - from the welcome, to the service, to the food - all were just fantastic! We had a two-choice tasting menu - one vegetarian - everything... We ate here for the first time last weekend and words cannot convey how amazing the food was. Big thanks to Billy, Joanne & Co, such a lovely atmosphere. Already looking forward to a return trip.

My husband and I visited last Saturday night for dinner, bed and breakfast. Very friendly greeting on arrival. The food was the best, I had pork and he had lamb, both presented beautifully. By the time we got to dessert, we couldn't make up our mind ( spoiled for choice.) Great waitress suggested " Chiefs selection" I think it was... More

My wife and I come to the Hook on holiday each year and make a point to have dinner together here each time - well presented dishes, with plenty of variety, use of local produce and friendly and attentive staff. Despite being relatively isolated it always seems to be busy, which is a testament to its appeal - all at... More

What a lovely, warm, inviting restaurant, tucked away from the world on the hook peninsula. Service was fantastic and the food was absolutely beautiful. My only regret was not booking accommodation there too!

We ate here twice in 3 days! Superbly presented and a wonderfully cooked variety of tasty food, great friendly service and a true haven for food lovers in this quiet part of County Wexford. Joanne's front of house team and Billy's kitchen brigade are a credit to restaurants everywhere. We thoroughly recommend it.

Visited here with another couple. The tasting menu was perfect. Perfect size. I have had good and bad experiences with fusion and more bad than good as the chef has to have a very sharp palette. Billy Whitty gets it right. Every dish was very delicately made and the flavours went perfect together. We will definitely be returning

I had heard a lot about this place and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in the area and tried to get a booking last year for the restaurant but it was booked out. We stayed this time on their bed breakfast and dinner deal. The room we had was great -good size with nice touches like a small fridge on... More

We've lost track of how many visits we've made to Aldridge Lodge over the years. How can it keep getting better? We are both vegetarians and Billy takes the trouble to present a separate vegetarian menu with generous choice each time. Joanne and her team are fantastically friendly and unobtrusively efficient. Takes us four hours to get there from West... More

We went as a group of 14 family and friends to celebrate a Big birthday. We enjoyed very delicious food from a varied tasting menu which really had something for everyone and all beautifully cooked and presented. Service was excellent. The evening exceeded our high expectations. Thank you Billy, Joanne and staff for a memorable night.
