A wonderful, happy, family atmosphere tucked away in gorgeous little village of Culross. Staff are so friendly, genuinely concerned to offer best service and experience to diners. Very impressed! Food was amazing- be warned, big portions but each dish (10 of us) cooked beautifully and well presented. I had haggis creggans to start, smoked sausage wrapped in bacon with BBQ... More

Whilst travelling around Fife on various Easter egg hunts at historic attractions on Good Friday, we reached Culross just as my 5 year old son declared he was hungry. With his food intolerances, I was a bit sceptical that we would find anything much for him in the village but we headed for the Red Lion Inn and arrived minutes... More

Love it here, stop off often for a bar meal. The smoked sausage and curry is great. Lovely setting by the water and not too pricey. Sometimes the staff are slightly too inattentive that's my only complaint, would be nice to be asked how your meal is incase you have any issues with it or asked if we would like... More

After a lovely walk on a sunny Spring day we popped in here for a bite to eat. The tables inside were booked till late so we sat outside. As the sun was going down it did get slightly cooler but it was not uncomfortable. The food was really good and service was quite fast, I can understand why it... More

Visited here yesterday as it was recommended to us by a friend of my husband, small quaint little place which was getting quite busy as we were leaving. The staff were very friendly and happily found us a table even though we hadn't booked. We were sat near to the bar area at a table for two with two tables... More

Exploring this part Scotland heading towards Culross popped in to the Red Lion for lunch. I had the ploughmans lunch served with home produced soup absolutely superb, my wife and daughter had a pasta pot served with salad and garlic bread. Well worth a visit.
