Had Lamb Cutlets which were OK but the veg was cold and potatoes undercooked. Worst was they placed us (including my 91 year old father in law) in an enclosed outdoor area that was horrible with cheap tables and plastic seats. The noise was terrible...aided by two large tables of screaming kids. One table was supervised teenagers so should have known better. Waitress had a chip on her shoulder too. If you have to go there,not reccomended) ensure they place you inside with the humans.More

North Shore Tavern is a popular place for meals. With a good choice of daily specials and plenty of choice on the menu and huge serves it is worth returning more than once. Best to book ahead for a table to ensure you get in....This is one of the best value places to dine, food is fresh, tasty and well cooked.More

Had lunch at the Tavern last week & the service was good, the chips absolutely lovely & some of the meals looked great. However we both made the mistake of ordering the Steak Sandwich - WELL I would have been better to use the Rib...Fillet?? to mend my shoes rather than try to eat it - very disappointing. Not sure I'd try this place again after this bad experience.More

Fish & chips $11 Roast of the day $9 Old school pub fare. Big serves & very yummy. Very popular. Good to see it’s well supported. We sat in the Public Bar with an elderly friend , she likes a bet ! No worries. Public...bar attendant can take your order & it’s bought to your table. Keep up the good work. It’s great to go to a “pub” & have what’s expected. NOT some tavern TRYING to be “Fancy” & charging 3 times what they should. Well done. Hope to return soon. CheersMore

Visited the North Shore Tavern for the first time with friends, during the week. Lots of people there with a good atmosphere. A large menu available including specials which were as little as $9.99. I had a roast meal for that price and it was...excellent! The 4 of us all ate different meals and everyone was completely satisfiedMore

Came here while staying at the Novotel down the road. We got picked up from the resort by the free shuttle bus which was great so we could all enjoy a beverage or two. The meals were awesome. We had the Rib Eye Steak and...the Ribs, fast service and huge portions. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and you could have cut it with a butter knife, the ribs were sticky, tasty and fell off the bone. Having the kids pack with colouring in as well as kids area and face painter was awesome giving us a little time to ourselves. The free shuttle bus took us back to the resort with no drama. Would definitely recommend the North Shore Tavern 100%.More

First trip back here after a long time and was not disappointed. Calamari, avocado and smoked salmon salad at $18.90 was extremely good value. Full of fresh, mixed salad, a good portion of avocado, a lot of fresh, soft calamari and excellent portion of smoked...salmon. My friends' barramundi and prawn meals were equally good value and full plates. To sit outside on their patio area on a warm summer's evening was quite delightful. All in all an excellent dinner with great service.More
