This is a lovely local restaurant with a very friendly owner. Although we are vegetarians she fixed us a good dish that was not in the menu. 56€ divided by two for entre+plate+dessert and two glasses of good Chablis.

I've been meaning meaning to post a review for some nine months, and that I am doing so now is testament this place. It isn't really a restaurant so much as a meal Chez Irene - and all the better for that. You are basically eating her food in a building next to her home, and it is nothing short... More
We were recommended this place by the owner of our lovely B'n'B and I'm so glad we went. She opened up just for us and were treated to an evening of real, rustic home cooking. Her terrine is the best I've ever had. In between courses we chatted (only in French) and she told us about the area and places... More
To be sat in Irene's farmhouse garden on a summers evening eating great, imaginative food was a real pleasure and therefore a highlight of our week in France. The food was creative family cooking of the highest order and therefore I am going out of my way to recommend you go! During our week we ate at two Michelin one... More
Found this restaurant through Tripadvisor and it was really worth the trip. Small family style restaurant. We went there for the birthday of our son. Home feeling in the restaurant. Different concept from all other restaurants around. The owner cooks what she has on hands. Wine list is offering local wines at extremely affordable prices (champagne bottle below 40 Euros,... More

The owner Irene is nice and gentle and even she doesn't speak english we could talk with my little french..the space inside is very small so don't forget to book.the food is simple but genuine.... My wife and I were fortunate to have dinner at Irene's restaurant during our trip to Champagne-Ardennes in October 2010. We were staying in Arcis - on a Monday night, when nothing is open - and asked the proprietor of our guest house where we might find some food. He suggested Chez Irene, and rang her to see if she... Chez Irene is a wonderful country farmhouse kitchen restaurant. Irene will greet you on arrival and although she doesn't speak too much English she makes herself understood with her friendly welcome and obvious enthusiasm for the food she cooks to order. There is no menu just what she has in her garden, in the fieldsand woods around or what her... More
