It's difficult to describe just how wonderful this restaurant actually is, without sounding as if I have shares! Lovely seafront location, with sunset views, to start. The dining room is comfortable, with a relaxed, outdoorsy vibe. Fabulous staff! Really, really fabulous staff! Young kids, for the most part, who whisk around, smiling and efficient, and look genuinely delighted to be... More

This beach side restaurant is a little jem hidden away west of Cowes down a single track road to the Solent. Lovely marine decor - provide a perfect setting for imaginative local produce with an emphasis on local seafood. With ample outside seating which provides a viewing platform for both shipping and seals. Just perfect.

I enjoy quality food, well presented and this restaurant offers just that. My meal was excellent, the service was attentive without being intrusive and the bill was very reasonable considering the excellence of the meal. Lovely Scandinavian feel to the restaurant with views over the water to Southampton.

Where do I begin, we came to the Little Gloster to celebrate my son's 50th birthday as it is not only his favourite place to eat but ours too!! It isn't cheap but worth every penny especially for a special occasions. At the very last minute we decided to stay over to save the driving and it is one of... More

We booked early evening on a Thursday to enjoy a quiet ambience and usually a more efficient service, which was truly excellent. Friendly and welcoming staff do make all the difference. The restaurants' theme is that of sailing, which is quite pertinent considering its splendid beach front location. This is only matched with exquisite food which tingles the taste-buds. The... More

It was our first time here and part of my birthday celebrations. Seven of us for dinner, and everyone was pleased with their food. Well cooked, nicely presented, generally well served by a young team of waitresses. The sausage roll was spectacular! And the prices are not expensive, so good value. On the downside, the tables are a bit tight,... More

A large group of us (16) had a lovely Mother's Day brunch here, the service was excellent as was the food. Not the cheapest place you can eat at but the old adage of you get what you pay for sums The Little Gloster up nicely. Definitely worth a visit we will be back. Many thanks to the very smiley... My wife took me for a surprise night away and it was so easy, parked the car, red jet and bottle of bubbles, lunch in Cowes then taxi to The Little Gloster, where we were shown our fabulous ground floor suite overlooking the Solent, the room was beautifully decorated in calm coastal colours, we sat on the decking and rested...
