Met my cousin for lunch, warm welcome from staff, great menu selection, good value. We both chose a couple of starters and shared a side of chips, perfect with a couple of glasses of wine.... we sat in the conservatory then had a coffee outside.

Just had a lovely Sunday Lunch. Food is excellent and plentiful. Service very good, busy today but still very attentive. A lovely touch giving all Mothers a Mothers Day cupcake. First visit for my Mum and she throughly enjoyed it.

I would suggest you try their website, as they have different menus there including Christmas. I hope you enjoy as much as we did...we've even booked for Christmas day.

During lunch, If you sit in the bar area, bringing your do in shouldn't be a problem. We don't allow dogs in the top restaurant or in the conservatory. Hope this helps Ashley Gwb team

Pie Night - Tuesday Steak night - Wednesday 6 Real Ales on the bar. We aim to give you a fantastic experience incorporating modern & traditional dining. The Rising Sun has been the heart of Frampton Cotterell for decades. The Brewery tap for The Great Western Brewing Company in Hambrook. The pub Has been in the family for 35 years, recently opening a brewery in 2007. We are one of the few rare independent Real Ale houses left in Bristol.
