Just sorted photos from our trip to Oz and had to give a big shout-out to the Deck, Sunshine Beech, Noosa. Just such a great place and perfect location. We had a great laugh with the friendly, funny & relaxed staff. Relaxed and laid back,...but the service was still fast and bang-on. Few locals around (always a good sign), to chat with and get local tips on where to go. I had the Egg Benedict and my wife had some amazing looking sandwich. Didn’t need to eat again until that evening. If I lived in Noosa, this would be my go to office, loved the coffee.More

We had a lot of breakfasts in our life, but this time we went to the deck in sunshine beach and had a brekkie with the family, we had the best brekkie in town the kids loved it and so did we, its very affordable,...the kids had burgers for brekkie LOL close to the beach and parking next door thanks to all the lovely staff we will come back for sure Dutchie and YukiMore

We have been travelling with a big group (20+) along the east coast and this was our favourite coffee and breakfast spot (not because it’s owned by a Dutchie, that’s just coincidence). Easy to walk in with a big group without reservation. Just a few...steps away from the beach. Great coffee, simple but good food menu (loved the eggs benedict and the barramundi burger is absolutely great). If just another trendy urban cafe is your thing, then this is probably not the place, but we loved the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Certainly family friendly.More

I've been going to this place for 20 years. It used to be a standout. Best coffee in Noosa back then, and fabulous food, especially breakfast.... and the heavenly cheese and chive muffins. . But more recent visits over the past 18 months have been...disappointing. The attitudes of the young staff in place range from disinterested to sullen. No point in voicing my opinion to ears already not interested. After a hiatus of several weeks, I decided to try again with a friend. I had also arranged a further meeting on the upcoming Thursday. I was planning on my fave muffin, but first we had coffee. It was dreadful. Only half full and watery. No crema at all on the long blacks. Then I realised the owner was there - someone I could express my concerns to. I told him my coffee was not acceptable and that I'd seen a backslide in the place in recent times. I was astonished that without asking for detail, he cut me off and told me never to come back. He replaced the coffee, which he made himself this time and which was quite fine, and refunded the $5. The last time I was there I paid $6.50 for a long black decaf. I tried once more to pour oil on troubled waters, as I could see he was stressed and am not happy with confrontation, but to no avail. He angrily explained that he was "giving young people a go" . Now that is commendable, but if you truly want to do that, you train them to provide good service and produce decent coffee so that they can carry these skills with them to future employment. I see from reading other reviews that this has been an issue for more people than just me. I understand that this Covid stuff has put businesses under pressure - not just the Deck. But to lift morale, he might try respecting a long time regular local, training his staff to a professional level and reserving his anger for the gymnasium. Needless to say, I have found another venue for Thursday's engagement.More

Sadly with the Pandemic we haven’t ventured to Noosa for over 3 years. We walk down from Noosa to Sunshine Beach regularly- possibly the best day walk on the planet. We were delighted to find that “The Deck with Ray at the helm was alive...and well. Further, Ray delved into some old family recipe book and produced the international renowned “Citrus Bliss”. This must be the finest blend of citrus juice on the planet- ask for it by name; you won’t be disappointed! The Deck is a marvellous place to go; friendly fast service; great food and drink. Your missing out if you go elsewhere! Great to see you agin Ray and The Deck- well done!More

Very poor service to the point of being rude. Persons with a disability are seen as a hindrance with no assistance offered.

Wouldn’t go back to this place. The two unenthusiastic teenage girls behind the counter barley acknowledged me. They were busy giggling about the loud inappropriate music that was playing then focusing on their customers. Who wants to listen to blaring Shaggy at 9am while trying...to relax. Coffee was ok. Not many options at sunshine beach to choose from for breakfast but would rather fall off the Deck then go back go this place.More

We arrived around 10am on a Friday and just managed to get a table....they were so busy! We were told the food would be about half hour which was fine as we were not in a hurry. It did look like they were a staff...member short though as they were all under the pump. Once the food arrived it was really good. Poached eggs were perfect and the hot chocolate deliciously hot! My partner had a coffee that tasted good but wasn't hot enough. But both our Eggs Benedict and Healthy Breakfast were very tasty. We went back again on Monday and unfortunately the experience wasn't as good. After waiting 35 minutes for our order (and not being told there was a wait), I asked what was happening only to be told the chef hadn't even started cooking it yet. Unfortunately we had another appointment to get to so we had to cancel our order. Really wasn't good enough...no apology or explanation but they refunded our breakfast. I'd go back again but our last experience left a sour taste...More

Had a lovely breakfast here. Staff welcoming and acknowledged us. Hand sanitiser available and tables well spaced. Food arrived promptly and with a smile. Nice relaxing breakfast.

We're from Melbourne so we know a good coffee and was impressed by the ones we had at The Deck. Hot - not lukewarm like so many others and also have great toasties and wraps and juices, along with being the best breakfast place on...the strip. Always popular and very busy, especially on weekendsMore

Really enjoyed our lunch at the Deck yet again. Always great food and service. Amd reasonably priced as well. Take your BYO and you wont be charged for corkage. Dog friendly cafe too.

Great elevated street location. Watch the world go by. Average coffee. Service was slow and mediocre. Clearly only 16-17 year olds running the business. Tables were not cleared and left dirty. Not great in a covid world where cleanliness should be expected. Ok for a...quick coffee, smoothe or juice!!More
